Within this list, we will take a deep dive into 10 cars that NASCAR drivers use on a daily basis in their real lives, and why they chose that car.

9 Ryan Newman: 1949 Buick Roadmaster

Ryan Newman was presented with his 1949 Buick Roadmaster Convertible Coupe on his 30th birthday by his wife, Krissie, who threw him a major party where she brought him his surprise present.

The car was picked due to the fact it was featured in the movie, Rain Man, which is Ryan's favorite film, making this an incredibly personal gift, even though Newman refers to this as his "beater car."

Newman often uses this car to go from point A to B, using it for his daily tasks, so if you see one on the road the NASCAR star could easily be inside behind the wheel.

Jeff Gordon: Chevy Tahoe Hybrid

While he may now be an announcer for NASCAR on FOX, Jeff Gordon is one of the greatest drivers in the history of the sport. As a four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and a three-time Daytona 500 winner, Gordon really was one of the best.

Gordon owns several different cars in his personal garage, from a Jaguar XK-8 to a 1934 Ford, but the vehicle that is used most commonly is the Chevy Tahoe Hybrid SUV, with Gordon opting to use that for day-to-day usage.

It makes sense as it is a very practical car for driving around and getting things done, and he clearly has a partnership with Chevrolet, as there is a dealership bearing his name and likeness in Wilmington, NC.

8 Dale Earnhardt: 1967 Camaro

Dale Earnhardt comes from a lineage of great drivers, with Dale being a third-generation race car driver, so it is no surprise that he is a major petrol head outside of the NASCAR circuits.

Dale is a major Camaro guy, which also runs in the family, with his father having built a racing Camaro with his dad, so it clearly is something that runs in the family, and Dale continued that tradition.

He owns several different Camaro's, with the 1967 model being the pick of the bunch, which his family is no doubt proud to see him owning.

7 Danica Patrick: Lamborghini Gallardo

Danica Patrick was the first woman in history to win an Indy car race, making her a historic driver that will always be remembered, but her love for speed goes much further than just NASCAR.

Patrick is known for enjoying the speed outside of the NASCAR world where she owns a Lamborghini Gallardo, which she often drives around at incredible speeds in her hometown of Scottsdale, Arizona.

The Ford Fusion Hybrid is a brilliant vehicle that provides a fantastic drive, with this being a car that most people would love to have, yet when you think of top NASCAR drivers a Ford Fusion isn't really the vehicle that comes to mind.

On the outside, Jimmie Johnson's personal ride may look like a beater that you wouldn't be expecting a top NASCAR driving to be riding around in on a daily basis, but he is more than happy with the vintage pickup truck.

While it might look like a rusty old vehicle that could do with going to the scrapyard, this is a truck that Johnson loves driving, using it on a daily basis, with the NASCAR star claiming that it is very comfortable to drive in.

On top of that, whilst it might look old and beaten on the outside, if you pop the hood you will see a very powerful Corvette engine, which gets this pickup truck moving a lot quicker than you may first guess.
