In today's world, it is actually quite difficult to travel anywhere without seeing a fully electric or hybrid-powered vehicle of some sort. This state of affairs can be largely attributed to the rapid advancements in battery and charging capabilities as of late. As these technologies have become more commonplace and easier to obtain, more and more individuals have begun to notice the value and convenience that purchasing an electric car offers.

Today, over 40 electric vehicle models are offered to the public. While this still only represents a fraction of the 260 models currently offered in the US, we must remember that just ten years ago, we only had access to six electric vehicle models in all of North America. Clearly, we've come a long way in a relatively short period of time.

While more variety is always welcomed, the problem is that due to how new this technology is and how fast it changes, it can become a bit overwhelming if you're new to the world of EVs. So, what should you do if you want to become better acquainted with these kinds of cars but don't know much about them? Well, thankfully, there is an event that was basically purpose-built for inquisitive folks like yourself. It's called National Drive Electric Week.

Let's get into what makes this the perfect event for both aspiring and veteran EV enthusiasts.

The best part of any National Drive Electric Week event is the fact that you get to see a vast array of electric vehicles, all in one place. If you’re on the hunt for an electric car of your own, this can be especially helpful, as you’ll also be able to more easily compare them to one another. Additionally, because their owners will be there, you’ll also have a chance to ask questions and figure out which electric car would work best for you.
