"When it really comes to a really, really tough decision that I think in my head, I always resort back to the bottom," he said. "I just listen to my head and I end up saying, 'No, I don't need it. For what? I got everything I can want and more. There's nothing more that I can give myself that would make me happier than I am right now.”

This is an admirable quote and one that took place earlier in the year with Crain’s Cleveland. We hate to poke fun at The King but perhaps he should have used that mind-set when purchasing some of the rides in his garage. He gets a lot of heat for the Nike inspired Aventador Roadster but in truth, that has less to do with him and more the creators.

Like lots of other athletes not every car in LeBron’s garage is a hit. For that reason we take a look at NBA player rides LeBron might want to swap for. Among those rides includes Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Porsches. Looking at the likes of Curry’s Porsche or Bryant’s 458 Italia LeBron might consider upgrades. However, he doesn’t need any upgrades when it comes to his Bentley or Maybachs. His cars from the brands have insane worths. There isn’t an NBA player he’d swap those rides with. He doesn’t seem to like heavy modifications or massive SUVs either - we’ll include those that have these types of rides in the article as well.

Enjoy folks and like always be sure to share the article with a friend. Let’s get started!

20 Would: Kevin Durant (Ferrari California)

via youtube.com

Not only would he swap for a championship ring but he would likely also swap Ferrari rides with a certain Golden State NBA Champion. Now there really isn’t anything wrong with LeBron’s F430 Spider. Heck he even bought his wife a Ferrari on her 30th birthday.

However lots of Ferrari enthusiasts might opt for Durant’s California instead.

It’s nearly with double the price (depending on the type) along with having such a sleek and classic Ferrari look on the outside. The California isn’t all about looks however, the vehicle posses great speed with a 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds along with a 315 km/h top speed.

19 Wouldn’t: J.R. Smith (Gurkha F5)

via sbnation.com

It might be hard to believe but we assume LeBron would rather his SUV ride that was given to him for his 18th birthday - a Cadillac Escalade than this particular tank that has a worth of almost $500,000. His former teammate J.R. Smith has a weird appreciation for vehicle types. It caused quite the stir when he was caught riding around in this armored Gurkha F5 truck back in the summer of 2013. Let’s just say it isn’t a ride most of us would purchase as a daily driver or any type of driver for that matter. Sorry J.R., but LeBron might have to give you the cold shoulder once again.

18 Would: Russell Westbrook (Lamborghini Aventador One)

via starmoz.com

Like LeBron Westbrook cashed in quite nicely back in 2017 inking a mammoth five-year contract worth $205 million. Among his top purchases included a stunning orange Lamborghini Aventador. According to Bleacher Report the vehicle has a worth of $387,000.

No disrespect to The King, however most would take Westbrook’s Lambo ride without any hesitation in comparison to LeBron’s “special” customized Nike patterned Lambo.

A shoe print has no business on a car let alone a Lambo. Like another great Michael Jordan LeBron should have created a shoe inspired by one of his rides – similar to Jordan’s Porsche inspired kicks.

17 Wouldn’t: Shaquille O’Neal (Ford F-650 Pickup)

via proboards.com

LeBron doesn’t have a history purchasing Ford pickups. We assume he wouldn’t have any interest in one of Shaq’s either. O’Neal has one of the wackiest garages out there filled with rides we would and wouldn’t take. Given the modification costs alone most of us might pass on O’Neal’s mammoth F-650 pickup ride. The cost to fill that up might be the equivalent of a darn jet. Before restorations the car had a worth of just under $66,000. According to The Drive the price shot up to double at $124,150. The 330 horsepower and 750 lb-ft of torque wouldn’t be enough to sway LeBron into taking this ride – sorry Shaq!

16 Would: Michael Jordan (Aston Martin Volante)

via scmp.com

Forever compared, Jordan and LeBron share similar and not so similar rides. Among the model types never owned by LeBron is the silky smooth Aston Martin Volante. The ride just screams luxury. It has no shortage in terms of prestigious owners either. Among the most popular athletes to purchase the ride includes Tom Brady and of course, Michael Jordan who bought a couple of different versions after his career came to an end.

Given that LeBron never bought the car, maybe he might be feeling the itch to do so.

After all, he’s got a plethora of cars that are underwhelming compared to the Aston Martin including some Mercedes and Dodge types. However one might argue that he’ll sleep easy with his Maybach.

15 Wouldn’t: James Harden (Chevrolet Camaro)

via thruumylens.blogspot.com

It isn’t the most expensive car on the list but as The News Wheel discusses Harden’s Camaro seems to be loaded with lots of goodness; “The fifth-generation Camaro SS also features a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine good for more than 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. This allows Harden’s Camaro SS to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in less than five seconds.” Despite the beauty on both the inside and outside the same publication indicates the base model sells for quite cheap at $30,000. LeBron likely isn’t losing any sleep over that type of worth. It should also be noted that he owns the same model type in a completely custom white theme.

14 Would: Dwyane Wade (Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR)

via pinterest.com

One of LeBron’s best buddies Dwyane Wade has himself quite the car collection. Among the most stunning rides is a Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR, a vehicle that can have anyone drooling. James purchased a Mercedes ride as well, the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG. There certainly isn’t anything wrong with that ride. However in just about every facet it doesn’t compare to Wade’s McLaren which has a value of nearly double. Wade’s ride has a worth of $500,000. Not only is breathtaking on the outside but it’s a speedster inside with a disturbing sprint speed on 0 to 100 km/h in under 4 seconds. In fairness to LeBron most would be foolish not to swap for this ride.

13 Wouldn’t: Chris Paul (Jeep JKU Wrangler Unlimited)

via insureyourcaronline.com

They might be rivals on the court but off it the two maintain a close relationship – so much so that Paul tried to encourage LeBron to join the Rockets during the offseason. Given how close the team was, that could have put them over the edge but instead LeBron chose to pack his bags and call California his permanent home.

He already has a house worth over $20 million.

The two share a love for Jeeps. One of LeBron’s earliest rides during his fame was the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Paul’s ride is an upgrade, the JKU Wrangler Unlimited. However looking at LeBron’s recent purchases we assume he’s over the Jeep phase. For that reason he’ll pass.

12 Would: Steph Curry (Porsche 911 GT3 RS)

via pinterest.com

For the longest time Curry wasn’t paid as one of the top NBA stars. He made $12.1 million which was absolutely criminal when assessing all the championship he led his team to. That all changed most recently when he rightfully became the NBA’s most lucrative player signing a deal worth more than $200 million. Among the rides you can find in Curry’s garage includes a stunning Porsche 911 GT3 that has a worth of $175,900. Curry adores Porsche so this it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. LeBron himself also has a liking for the car brand owning a Porsche model in the past. He might be envious of his rival’s success both on and off the court given this ride.

11 Wouldn’t: Michael Beasley (Customized Bentley Flying Spur)

via pinterest.com

Beasley’s car definitely didn't come cheap with a price tag of over $200,000. Given the modifications that came with his ride we have reason to believe that car has a worth of a quarter of a million. However given LeBron’s past rides he seems to use the formula less is more. When it comes to his most expensive rides LeBron doesn’t dare to touch the cars with any type of modifications. That’s especially true with his superior Bentley Mulsanne and Rollys-Royce Phantom. Given that he has the better Bentley ride (worth more than $400,000) and his lack of car mods we assume he’d pass on Beasley’s ride.

10 Would: Derrick Rose (Bugatti Veyron)

via cars247.com

It might be hard to believe nowadays however at one point Derrick Rose was mentioned in the same category as LeBron James. Due to such a start Rose cashed in nicely with numerous sponsorship deals. Despite his terrible drop off Rose maintains a terrific net worth of over $100 million.

He also purchased a couple of cars that might make LeBron jealous, including a Bentley and the stunning ride seen above, the Bugatti Veyron.

The ride is just as powerful on the inside. According to Shear Comfort Rose’s Bugatti ride has blazing speeds of 267.86 mph! Now that’s fast and as it that wasn’t enough according to Auto Insider the ride has a worth of $1.7 million! Even The King himself has to be impressed.

9 Wouldn’t: Blake Griffin (GMC Denali)

via twitter.com

Don’t be fooled. The GMC Denali is no cheap truck. The 2018 Yukon Denali is listed at a starting price of $79,850 according to GMC Canada. Without a doubt Griffin’s Denali might be worth a little more given the obvious modifications to the truck. Its fully decked with a Matte Black theme. For SUV lovers this is definitely a worthy ride. However the key here is SUV lovers. In recent years LeBron’s love for the SUV continues to depreciate. Perhaps his history with the Hummer and Escalade might have shifted his past perceptions. For that reason he’ll pass on Blake’s ride.

8 Would: DeMar DeRozan (Mercedes Benz G63)

via autotrader.com

Okay so we might have said that LeBron wouldn’t trade for a truck or SUV type. But what if he was presented with the G63, a ride purchased by DeRozan back in his Toronto days. Heck rival Stephen Curry also bought the ride. If there’s a bigger ride LeBron might consider swapping for its this one. DeMar’s blacked out theme just puts the icing on this fantastic and much sought after vehicle. The price tag is one LeBron can afford but us normal folks simply cannot unless we plan on using the car as a home as well. According to Cars Guide a base model can be purchased for $235,411.

7 Wouldn’t: Anthony Davis (Porsche Panamera)

via motortrend.ca

Take nothing away from the Porsche Panamera, this is a beautiful model and one that can be quite pricey depending on the type purchased. The Turbo models range from $124,000 to $170,00 according to Porsche.

However the very base model has an affordable price tag, for those that have interest in Porsche types at $72,000.

In all likelihood LeBron would choose to stick to his Porsche 911 Turbo S, one that is incredibly fast and possess over 550 horsepower according to Cheat Sheet. It’s also worth a lot more with numerous current models selling at over $217,000. Clearly LeBron’s better off with his Porsche ride.

6 Would: Kobe Bryant (Ferrari 458 Italia)

via twitter.com

Raised in Milan, Italy it only makes sense that Kobe would purchase a car from one of the most luxurious Italian car company’s out there. According to TMZ the 458 Italia did not come cheap with a price of $329,000. Hitting top speeds of 340 km/h and 0-100 km/h acceleration in under 3 seconds it is safe to say Kobe chose correctly. The Ferrari might not be the only ride LeBron’s jealous of. The NBA legend also owns a Lamborghini and Bentley. As if that wasn’t enough he’s got a helicopter and new mansion near LeBron's worth $8 million.

5 Wouldn’t: Kevin Durant (Chevrolet Camaro SS)

via pinterest.com

First off let’s give some love to Durant. Instead of creating a car with a shoe pattern Durant wisely decided to create a new shoe with the pattern inspired by his Chevorlet Camaro. Looking at LeBron’s Roadster Aventador he might be envious that Durant decided to take this route – not to mention that the Nike KD 8 V8’s are shoes most of us would buy without hesitation. As for the car, both are pretty much the same just with different colors. Durant decided on a Matte red theme while LeBron went for the white. We assume both are happy with their decisions – therefore James probably doesn’t want to swap.

4 Would: Paul George (Ferrari F430)

via silverarrowcars.com

Auto Loan Daily made the call on this one. Perhaps George was so down on not wearing a Lakers jersey that he decided to buy not one but two cars; “The Ferrari F430 that Paul George drives has 483-horsepower and has a top speed of 200-miles per hour. The Porsche Panamera is a bit more sedate with four doors and a hatch back, but if George went for the Turbo S model it could have as much as 570-horsepower.” The F430 is a great purchase.

The price point tends to vary with affordable F430s ranging lower than $61,621, however the price tag can go as high as near half a million.

This depends on personal taste however some might opt for George’s Ferrari instead of The King’s. It might be time for James to upgrade.

3 Wouldn’t: Dwight Howard (Ford F550 Conquest Knight XV)

via twitter.com

We admire the rarity of this car however maybe Shaq and J.R. Smith would be the only other two human-being interested in the ride. For what it’s worth according to Money Sense only 17 have ever been sold. Maybe the price tag has a lot to do with that. Liam Casey of Money Sense explains; “It is a rare beast. There are only 17 in the world, sold to the likes of Middle Eastern royalty and a basketball star. The vehicle starts at $629,000, but most go for several hundred thousand dollars more. It weighs twice as a much as a Hummer and it can stop a bullet from an AK-47.” Maybe if LeBron tanks in LA he’ll swap for protection purposes....

2 Would: Marco Belinelli (Lamborghini Huracan)

via autoevolution.com

This one is truly surprising given the Italian makes $6 million per year while LeBron recently signed a fat four-year deal worth $154 million. Let’s not even start to discuss all those endorsement deals. However, in a surprising twist most would side with Belinelli when it comes to Lamborghini models. Becoming the first Italian to win an NBA Championship Lambo made it a point to put the player in a Lambo. He drove around in the stunning Urus and it is said that he purchased the Huracan. Sorry to LeBron but once again we have reason to believe he’d get rid of that customized roadster for this ride in a heartbeat.

1 Wouldn’t: Zach Randolph (Chevy Impala)

via pinterest.com

This one depends on personal taste. Some find the Chevy Impala to be a little too out there. Surprisingly, LeBron doesn’t think so as he also owns the car. He’ll likely shake Zach’s hand for the purchase but he won’t swap as he’s just doing fine with his classic 1975 ride, the Chevy Caprice. Both cars have unique features on both the inside and out – clearly one isn’t noticeably better than the other so for that reason as well a swap wouldn’t be needed. Recently signing a two year, $24 million deal, maybe Randolph might upgrade to another ride LeBron wants to swap for?
