If you had the space to collect all the cars from your youth, it might look like Chris Sills' 35-acre property near Omaha, Nebraska. Here, in several enormous garages live some awesome Chevrolets, a few Fords, and some other surprises. The YouTube 1320video channel visits Chris to learn more about his impressive collection.

In the video, check out Chris' cars and watch as he drives a couple of special ones.

Revisiting The Past With Some Treasured Classic Cars

Chris Sills loves cars, especially those from the 1960s. The first garage he shows off is 2400 sq. ft. and houses six cars. One is a clean and mean Chevy K10 square body pickup which is very much like the 1970 model he owned when he was 19. The immaculate 1967 Camaro SS near it is similar to 21-year-old Chris' 1968 model.

Also in this garage are his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang, a 1966 Chevelle Malibu, a 1957 Chevy Belair, and one crazy-looking 1962 Chevy II Nova restomod. Chris says he likes owning the first-year model of the cars he collects and everything he needs is in this garage to work on the cars including several sets of tools, two lifts, and a massive lathe mill combo.

Chris' other two garages are even bigger, containing several racing quads, a 1967 Dodge Dart project car, a fully intact Model A, a random tuk-tuk, and his wife's 2011 Mini Cooper S with a K04 turbo upgrade.

The fun really begins, however, when Chris drives two of his favorites. First is the K10 with 383 small block V8 rated at 440 hp, and a Tremec five-speed transmission. According to Chris, authentic small-block engines outstrip swapped LS engines because they hold their power. One quirky addition is the real 12 gauge pistol-grip shotgun that Chris has converted into the truck's shifter.

The second is the Chevy II aka "The Gherkin" is Chris' top car. This neon-green beast has 565 big-block with a TH400 transmission rated at 450 lb-f. of torque, backed by 76 mm twin turbos. On a rural road near Chris' home, the neon-green Chevy easily clocks 160 mph.

Chris seems to have enough toys for a lifetime. However, he plans to add another garage and one more car, a 1986 Chevy Camaro IROC-Z like the 1984 Z28 that he once owned. It goes to show that, with enough determination, you can indeed return to the best-loved classic cars of your past.
