Missed out on the import tuner car craze of the late ‘90s and early 2000s? Then get a taste with this amazing YouTube video.

We’ve actually been given a taste of what this YouTuber can do already thanks to a previous video from Владислав Чекунов, aka “Chekunov V.” They’ve taken an old video game called Need for Speed: Underground and turned it into a live-action recreation through the use of fancy video editing and over a dozen fancy cars.

Guess the first vid was a success since the follow-up is four times as long and features even more of the original’s tunes.

In the first video, our nameless hero picked a Toyota Celica as their ride in order to compete in a street race against a trio of opponents. This time the “player” scoots past the Celica on the “menu screen” and then picks the MkIV Toyota Supra to drive--a fine choice!

There’s a quick drag race to show off what the older-gen Supra can do, and then we get to see an even larger list of what was available in the 2003 video game. Besides the Supra and Celica, there’s the Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R, Mazda RX-7, Subaru Impreza WRX STI, Honda S2000, Pontiac GTO, Lancer Evolution IX, Mitsubishi Eclipse, and Nissan 350Z.

In fact, there are quite a few GT-Rs and 350Zs--many of the player’s opponents drive Skylines and 350z, and you need a different car for each one. Not to mention a different car for big-bad orange Skyline showcased in the very first race.

After trying out the Supra, we move on to the Lancer Evo VIII with several "upgrades" in order to boost handling and top speed. And then finally we arrive at the iconic R34 Skyline GT-R for a final set of races.

At the end, we get to see the whole cast and their Instagram pages, along with a note on how they created this masterpiece. Wherever they are, they managed to close down some public roads and use a drone to take the shots, which were then sped up in post-production to give the impression of speed.
