When General Motors’ famous truck division, GMC, launched the current-generation Sierra 1500, it had its rough beginning, to say the least. For starters, its interior seemed old and outdated, the technology wasn't all desirable, and it had a rougher ride compared to its opponents, mainly the Chevrolet Silverado.

But over the years, the truck has undergone a massive evolution that would put the Ford Maverick to shame by becoming an even bigger, bolder, and better pickup truck. When it comes to the new 2022 GMC Sierra Denali, the question hasn’t been “how good will the exterior look?” Pretty much everyone expects it to be the best on the outside.

After all, the Sierra Denali 1500 is and has been one of the most eye-catching pickup trucks out there. The newest GMC Sierra 1500 release obtains a new interior with a much larger touch screen of 13.4 inches across the line-up, except for the basic pro model. And this time around, the Denali family has welcomed a new sibling: The AT4X.

This new trim is set to be the line's ultimate off-roader, emphasized by its performance, sporty appeal, and performance. There's also a fully loaded Denali Ultimate model at the top of the range, garnished by GM's Super Cruise Hands-Free Highway Driving System – which also debuts this same year. Read on and find out more about what Sierra Denali’s interior has in store.

Inside the pickup, your eyes will automatically be pulled to the Sierra Denali’s front cabin, which boasts a sophisticated dashboard with a massive infotainment screen and a neatly-designed console underneath, surrounded by luxurious and sporty color stitching that spread across the interior.

In the Pro model, you’ll get standard features, like a 7 -inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, a six -speakers audio system, and keyless remote entry. The infotainment system appears to be the same size as the 2021 Yukon Denali.

Moving up the line adds wireless smartphone connectivity, a bigger 13.4-inch touch-screen infotainment system, a Wi-Fi hot spot, satellite radio, and two front USB ports, a seven-speaker Bose audio system, a console-mounted safe, and wireless device charging.

Plus, the Sierra family adds a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Depending on the trim, other desired tech features include the seven-speaker Bose audio system and wireless device charging. The high-end models also gain a leather-wrapped steering wheel and other driver-focused details.

The new Sierra Denali comes with a Console shifter, which is a solid change from the Column shifter, and, to many, is going to take some getting used to. One of the most outstanding features is the GM’s Super Cruise driver-assistance technology, which is available on the Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate trim.

Starting from the low-end SLE, Elevation, and SLT trims, buyers can indulge themselves in the standard Jet Black and Dark Slate interiors as well as heated driver and outboard front passenger seats. To keep your passengers comfortable, the Denali comes with rear-door openings rear vents, and plenty of legroom.

From the SLT trim, you’ll get a standard 120-volt power outlet on the instrument panel, a 10-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, and leather upholstery. High-end trims receive premium forge perforated leather seats and real ash wood trim, for an extra dose of luxury.

You’ll also enjoy a much quieter ride in the Denali, thanks to the noise-muffling technology in the triple-sealed doors, under the hood, and in the dashboard.

The Denali boasts one of the most luxurious and large cabins among the truck lineage. The Sierra Denali comes in the Regular Cab, Double Cab, and Crew Cab configurations. Each of these sizes has its quirks. While the regular cab hauls more cargo, the trade-off is that it will only accommodate up to three people. On the other hand, the double cab and the crew cab version both each offer four doors and seats for up to six people.

But you’ll get more passenger space in the Crew Cab. Besides the cargo bed, the Denali has multiple storage spaces in the cabin, like the rear seatback storage, which unlocks storage compartments behind the rear seatbacks. With the rear under-seat storage, you can store shoes under the seat. And you’ll love the console-mounted safe, lockable glove box.

Another package is the Cargo Convenience Package. This adds a console-mounted safe and more rear under-seat storage, at a price of costs $515. For an extra $1,045, buyers will have the Driver-Alert Package, which unlocks a forward-collision alert, adaptive cruise control, and a distance indicator.

The Technology Package costs $1,875 and adds a bed view camera, a rear camera mirror, and a head-up display. At the top, is the Denali Premium Package, which gives you a power sunroof, wheel locks, and more, for $3,390.
