The next generation of Lamborghini supercars is finally on the way. The Aventador’s replacement, codenamed the LB744, is set to be a hybrid revolution. Featuring the same V12 power we know and love from past Lamborghinis yet offering extra hybrid power. Lamborghini has recently teased us about the driving experience of the car. While also showcasing, briefly, the rather impressive digital cluster the car will have. It is such an impressive digital display that it puts the F-35 Lightning II fighters display to shame.

It is a typically mad, Lamborghini display with refreshments to bring it up to standard for the modern era. With all the big numbers and drive modes on clear display, its one of the most impressive clusters we have seen in a while. Truly befitting of the Aventador’s successor.

The LB744s Digital Cluster Is Typical Lamborghini

The cluster for the Aventador’s replacement is exactly what you would expect from Lamborghini. We only get fleeting glimpses of it in Lamborghini’s video on their YouTube channel. But it is enough to give us a bit of a look at the design. Images on Lamborghini’s media site give us an even better look. On full display is of course the speedometer. With the gearing also on show as well as the various temperature gauges. These though are all in their own circular pattern on the left of the speedometer. Different to most standard cars.

The central display also showcases the drive mode you are in. There are different letters for whatever driving mode you are in. Amazingly, there are 13 different driving modes. Citta Hybrid mode is for daily usage and maximum comfort, highlighted in the cluster by a large E in the middle with devil horns at the top. Sport recharge meanwhile features an aggressive S shape. And the gear numbers change from blue to red. This to showcase extra sportiness and aggression. It is everything you would expect from a Lamborghini, taking digital design to a new level.

The New Lamborghini Digital Cluster Is Fighter Jet Worthy

How does this compare with the F-35s digital display? Well that in itself is very space age, with a multitude of screens, clusters and information. It certainly has a lot more information than the LB744! Style is not the aim of the game in a fighter jet. But Lamborghini’s digital cluster very much features more style over the fighter jet. Lamborghini has a reputation of going crazy and fighter jet like for its interiors and that is clear to see with this particular supercar. The aggressive style of the gauges would not look out of place in the F-35.

Everything about the digital cluster oozes aggression. Even the battery capacity on the hybrid side looks modern, aggressive and fresh. As does the fuel level as well. What also helps is how this cluster looks shrouded in carbon fiber all around, for that famous Lamborghini weight saving. It doesn’t need to have carbon fiber around it, but it is certainly beneficial. Plus, it looks epic too and somehow even more futuristic than the interior of a fighter jet. Its one of the most advanced digital displays we have seen on any Lamborghini.

The Digital Cluster Has An Array Of Driving Modes To Showcase

IIts small wonder the digital cluster is so advanced. It has to go through 13 driving modes for the new supercar. A number that seems unprecedented. The cluster wont just show your basics like fuel levels, speed and gears. But also states of charge, energy recovery and how much battery there is. All while also highlighting the drive modes you are in plus other features such as your total mileage, and any music you are playing. Yes, even the music you are listening to will get displayed. We don’t think the F-35 will have this feature!

What is very pleasing about the next-gen Lamborghini display is that, compared to the Aventador, it looks so much more modern and refined. Everything is clearly marked, and everything is easy to read. It shows Lamborghini have put a lot of focus into it and not left the display as an afterthought.

There is no official name just yet for the new Lamborghini. But we do know that a 6.5-liter V12 engine is under the hood. An engine Lamborghini says is its lightest and most powerful V12 in its entire history at just 480 lbs. Up to 1,000 hp is to come from the Aventadors replacement. All-wheel drive is another hugely exciting feature of this upcoming Lamborghini. It will surely be a joy to drive, and having a digital display as cool as this is one way to make the interior an epic place to be.
