Knowing that Lamborghini has said their goodbyes to the Huracan, is a sad moment of realization for all car enthusiasts worldwide. With the iconic V10 noise, aggressive supercar looks, and a car that was the brand's most iconic shape for the last 8 years, the Huracan will no doubt be going down in automotive history. The Aventador's hybrid replacement has already been announced, and we are expecting a Huracan replacement to follow suit.

We've had some amazing HotCars Exclusive Renders recently, but this one hits home hard. HotCars digital artist Rostislav Prokop has drawn up this render of what the next generation of one of the brand's most iconic poster cars should look like. In this exclusive render, the Huracan gets a futuristic makeover that takes it to a whole new level. With striking looks and an aggressive stance, this Lamborghini render is ready to take a shot at any modern supercar.

The Next Lamborghini Supercar Will Have A Wild Styling

Where to even start? This render is amazing. It seems to encompass everything that a Lamborghini should have. It's striking enough to warrant a second look, aggressive enough to let you know that it means business, and most of all it's a crazy color that will make it very easy to find in a parking lot! The original Huracan was designed by Filippo Perini and included design elements that would later evolve to define the brand, many of which have been translated through this render.

We will start with the body. It carries on that iconic low and swooping shape that is unmistakably Lamborghini. Sharp, jagged lines combine to make this render extremely aggressive. Double air intakes adorn the rear quarter with plenty more aerodynamics leading air around and over the car for added downforce. The front end has a newly designed face that takes this car into the future with a new set of headlights and an air channel to push air up and over the windshield toward the roof scoop.

The rear is a super aggressive area with lots of details and symmetry which is very on-brand for Lamborghini. There are the classic y-shaped rear lights, the stubby angular double exhaust, and a furious-looking rear diffuser. This sort of design element reminds one of the Lamborghini Veneno, an extremely rare and exclusive product from the brand that carries the same sense of sharpness and aggression. The roof scoop brings more race car elements to this render and the rear open-air intake that sits over the engine is similar to the F1 technology used in Mercedes-Benz AMG One.

Will The Huracan Replacement Have A V10 Engine?

As beautiful as this render is, what really sets Lamborghini apart from the rest, is what lies beneath. The combination of sharp handling and hair-raising noise made the Huracan the cult classic that it is today. The powertrain for the original Huracan was always Lamborghini's special weapon, it was of course; the naturally aspirated V10. With its piercing sound and incredible performance numbers, how will the new Huracan be powered?

Well, we can't be sure until the brand released new details. What we do expect, however, is for the Huracan replacement to follow in the footsteps of other similar offerings and be equipped with a hybrid powertrain. Recently, a Ferrari 296 GTB was seen driving into the Lamborghini factory, no doubt being tested as a benchmark for what Lamborghini has in store. The 296 GTB of course uses a hybrid powertrain paired with a twin-turbo V6. While we hope that Lamborghini's answer will encompass the classic V10, it does seem unlikely given the brand's move to a hybrid powertrain.

The ideal scenario for gearheads would be a system similar to the groundbreaking Porsche 918 Spyder. A hybrid system is attached to a naturally aspirated V8, and to be honest, this does not seem too much of a stretch. Hopefully, this would mean total power output in the 900 HP range. As Porsche, Lamborghini, and even EV hypercar specialists Rimac all belong to the VW group, who knows what kind of technology will be shared between them?

While designing their first hybrid vehicle the Sian, the brand obtained a patent for a new supercapacitor technology. This tech is a major part of the Sián hypercar build and will likely be incorporated into more upcoming hybrid Lamborghini cars. There are diverse advantages to the supercapacitor, and Lamborghini’s patented advancement claims to increase its energy density by 100%. If this tech can be translated to the new Huracan, we can expect some big power numbers to be revealed.
