EVgo has a network of over 750 charging stations with more than 1,200 fast chargers in 66 metropolitan areas spread across 34 states. Additionally, they have roaming partnership agreements with other EV charging providers adding another 30,000 public charging options available to LEAF owners and lessees. They currently serve over 180,000 customers but this recent announcement will surely cause those numbers to grow considerably.

EVgo has expanded electric car charging roaming access through its ChargePoint network, which includes 28,000 Level 2 chargers and 300 fast chargers with the CHAdeMO connector. It's also signed additional roaming network agreements with Electrify America and EV Connect further expanding the Nissan Energy Perks program.

The partnership is a smart move for Nissan. They've long been a leader in electric cars and this certainly makes their products more attractive to new and existing customers. It also comes at a time when Tesla and Ford have made great strides in expanding their own EV charging networks.

In addition to the partnership agreement signed between Nissan, EVgo, and other roaming access providers, they've expanded fast and regular charging options for drivers across the country. This is a long term strategy between the two companies designed to fortify the Nissan electric car brand and provide a customer base for EVgo's considerable charging network.

This is certainly something for LEAF owners and lessees to cheer about. Since its introduction in 2010, 430,000 examples of the LEAF have been sold worldwide with almost a third of that number in the U.S. alone. And, the new Nissan LEAF and LEAF PLUS continue that record of innovation and electric vehicle market dominance with ranges of 150 miles and 226 miles respectively. Let's hear it for Nissan! Buckle up.
