If you're going to be driving through a snowstorm, chances are you're going to pick a vehicle like an SUV or pickup truck — but, if you're bold enough you might just pick a Nissan Silvia S15. On a four-hour drive to the track followed by a full track day, YouTuber Adam LZ got stuck in some less than ideal weather conditions. But, as is usual for most channels, their struggle is our entertainment, and of course, everyone made it out safely, which is the important part.

Perils On The Way To The Track

According to popular YouTuber and drift aficionado Adam LZ, they weren't exactly planning on the weather taking a dramatic turn for the worst. But, as they usually do, they made the best of the situation, resulting in some pretty comical and, in a few moments a bit stressful, content. For the sake of a successful drift day after a long drive to the track, however, the show must go on — and luckily for viewers, it did.

From the beginning of the video, there is no snow, and it isn't until after a quick stop at a small diner on their way into the Pocono Mountains that they noted that they weren't expecting any snow, which they honestly seemed just as genuinely surprised about it was we did. With part of the drive being at night after heavy snow, it leaves us feeling a bit wary of the journey, but the Adam LZ team makes it to the track in one piece. The snow-covered track, that is.

What makes the video even better is the classic Adam LZ drift shots, which are only enhanced by the dramatic scenery provided by the snow-covered track. While this may be a bit of a sketchy experience to most drivers, Adam himself is a very practiced and talented driver — and don't let the ease of which his tandem drifting appear.

On a good day, tandem drifting (being where you are drifting in sync with another vehicle) can be a difficult task, and add in the unexpected element of snow and ice the results can be disastrous if not handled with experienced drivers. But then again, a bit of peril usually makes for some excellent content, especially in the world of cars and drifting, and it was nothing but excitement from beginning to end watching this Nissan Silvia brave the snowstorm.
