In a video on YouTube, channel RPM ArmyIn a video on YouTube, channel RPM Army captures a wide variety of different cars and trucks racing down the drag strip from the King Of Columbus at National Trail Raceway.

The No Prep drag racing event takes place in Columbus, Ohio and features many classes of vehicles.

Check out the video to see a bit of everything from classic cars like an AMC Gremlin to a modern widebody Dodge Charger speed down the drag strip.

No Prep Drag Racing In Columbus, Ohio

First up is a classic Ford Mustang with small tires in front that takes on an AMC Gremlin.

Despite the unlikely duo taking each other on, the race down the strip is competitive, with the Gremlin pulling off the win against the classic Ford.

Official top speed or times for the 1/4 mile are not shown in the video for this race or the others.

However, the video still offers a number of highly competitive races if you simply enjoy drag racing content.

Next up a white Chevy S-10 takes a fast trip down the strip before another S-10, this time a red one, takes on what appears to be a Chevy Monte Carlo or possibly Olds Cutlass.

The GM coupe ultimately races quickly away from the small pickup and pulls off the win.

It's a strong showing for Fords at the track as a Fox body Mustang and then a Ford Fairmont take trips down the strip.

In the case of the Fairmont, it's clearly ready to move as its power surges the car back and forth before its official takeoff.

The Fairmont then takes on the Gremlin from earlier, while the race is competitive at first, the Fairmont speeds forward and leaves quite a gap between the Gremlin and itself; a feat made more impressive when you consider that the Gremlin beat a Mustang to the finish line earlier in the video.

The Monte Carlo takes another trip down the strip and this time, raises off the ground before it starts, it's followed by a Ford Thunderbird that races to the finish line and deploys a parachute at the end to bring the fast coupe to a full stop.

A Chevy S-10 makes another appearance and is both fast and loud, like many other cars featured in the video, the powerful and drag-race friendly persona of the truck is quite a difference from the stock version that would have left the assembly line.

The Fairmont takes on the Monte Carlo again before a Fox Body Mustang pulls off a tire screeching bout down the strip.

Eventually, it moves to modern muscle as a Chevy Camaro races a widebody Dodge Charger.

The Charger immediately shows the Camaro who's boss and leaves the Camaro distantly in the dust.

In the end, the video finishes off with the Thunderbird again and another Fox Body Mustang before a green and white, single cab, square body Chevy pickup truck takes a trip of its own down the strip.

The video shows just how diverse a drag race can be and how, with the right modifications, daily drivers can become impressive racing vehicles.
