Custom car culture and the electric car are not yet on casual terms, but Novitec has stepped it up with a line of bolt-ons to set Tesla owner's Model 3 apart at the charging station. With the success of the Model 3 and Tesla accounting for 80% of electric car sales in the U.S., there are enough Model 3s in the market to justify an emerging custom market. However, it still might be a while before we see many people popping the hoods of electric cars and finding another 2/10th in the motor. Let's check out Novitec's new package for the 3.

And Baby Makes 3

Custom wheels and aerodynamics offer to set the Tesla apart.

Novitec isn't new to the Tesla customizing game. The Model 3 offerings build on the success of parts for Model S and Model X, Tesla's sedan and SUV. Prior to making Tesla's look prettier, they were tackling the much harder job of making already attractive Lamborghini, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, and Land Rovers even better looking.

Dress Up

While some of Novitec's facelifts can be pretty dramatic, they're starting slow with the Model 3 offering naked carbon-fiber trim. There's a carbon fiber part for the front and rear spoiler and side panels. Naturally, there are a selection of custom wheels as well. For those missing leather, they offer that as an upgrade as well.

Show & Go

The hot rodders of tomorrow are going to look a lot different than those of yesterday, with computers and careful power mapping. Until then the Model 3 gets its performance upgrades by way of suspension packages. Sportier springs and a coil-over kit is offered for those looking to do some hard cornering. While this does little to amp up the electric motor you can be sure Novitec is working on a hack to that as we speak. Stay tuned!
