This Numbers Matching 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Is An Incredible Discovery

Barn finds are some of the best cars that we can find out there. These cars are more often than not just shuttered away from the outside world for many years, and it is not uncommon to discover a lot of surprises when they are finally unearthed.

eBay is a great place to find one of these cars, and currently on the auction site is this incredible 1978 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 barn find survivor, located in Golden, Colorado, and looking for a new home.

A Lack Of History For This Z28

Unfortunately, there is a big lack of history for this car on the eBay listing, but we do get a bit of background information on the car. The listing states that the survivor is very much an original, and that it is, in fact, offered for sale by its original owner.

While it is nicely hidden away in a barn, the listing states that the Z28 is drivable but isn’t regularly driven. A car that is drivable as a barn find is going to make it much more enticing for a potential buyer as it is less work for them.

A Numbers Matching Survivor

The listing does give us a bit more interesting information too. The seller states that the car has 17,050 miles on the clock and is a total number matching example of the Z28. As such, the car is actually described as a time capsule, and finding a car like this is incredibly hard indeed.

The seller says the Z28 has new front shock absorbers and a new exhaust system. Everything else is original except for the wheels, although how much of that originality can be lovingly retained with the car does remain a big question.

Exterior Is In Great Condition

One thing is for sure though, and that is that this car is in excellent condition. The paint job is still stunning, with the Z28 in a gorgeous deep maroon with white stripes running across the hood of the car. The images show both the red and white in great condition.

Inside, the interior is also absolutely immaculate, so this is an incredibly rare find. With a barn find in almost as new condition someone is going to own a truly special Chevrolet Camaro Z28.
