With bike manufacturers slowly investing in electrical power, it has opened the door for new companies to step into the world of motorcycles. Ox Motorcycles are a start-up Spanish motorcycle manufacturer that launched their first prototype in 2019 and has become well known already for the retro looks that they bestow upon their bikes. Its been quite a labor of love for the company to create their new bikes, and they have revealed their latest effort, the retro Ox One bike that combines modern structure and performance, in the form of electric power, with classic looks akin to classic racing bikes from the 1960s.

The Ox One Is Inspired By 1960s Café Racers

The bikes page on the company’s website states that it is inspired by the Café Racer motorcycles of the 1960s, and aims to combine those looks with the most advanced modern technology. Its retro looks though certainly are sublime. One modern feature that won’t go unnoticed is the LED headlight on the front with quite a striking circular design, that offers great visibility than a classic headlight and improved safety for much longer journeys. LEDs are found at the back of the bike as well, with a rear lighthouse “tresero” found at the back of the Ox One. And the company also states that the bike's wide padded seat provides space and comfort for two people.

In terms of the motor in the Ox One, the 140 kg bike is powered by an 8kW motor that encompasses two 72 volt batteries. The bike's top speed is 110 km/h or roughly 62 mph and it has quite the charging time, being able to charge back up again after use in just two hours. Overall, the batteries in the bike will be good enough to take you on a 100 km run on a single charge, or just over 62 miles, and for most people that charge could probably last at least a couple of days.

When it comes to choosing the appearance of your bike, there are currently four colors available. While they are not described with any official names, the colors available are an attractive-looking white, a black scheme, a bright yellow, and a very fetching light blue color. The bikes are available to order now for 5,200 euro which roughly equates to around $6,275, which seems a great price for a bike that looks fantastic.
