The last Pagani Huayra coupe has rolled off the assembly lines in Italy.

It’s the end of an era. The very last Huayra Coupe has been made and delivered to a dealer in Miami. It’s called “L’Ultimo”, which is Italian for “The Last”, and is the 100th Huayra coupe to be made.

With a paint job that’s all shiny metal and turquoise stripes, Pagani says that they took inspiration from Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton’s car. Which is a little ironic since he recently told The Sun that his Pagani has the worst handling of any car he owns, and he owns a lot of cars.

He softened his criticism a little bit by saying his Zonda does have the best engine noise of any car he owns, so there’s that.

L’Ultimo took 8 months to build, which sounds like a long time but Pagani is one of those “hand-built” bespoke supercar makers that don’t use robots and ensures that everything has been gone over with a toothbrush before making delivery. This particular example was also built in collaboration with Prestige Import Miami dealer owner, Brett David, who was also able to see the car as it was developed using 3D rendering software.

Now that L’Ultimo has been delivered to the sunny shores of Miami, Pagani is now turning their attention to their roadster Huayra as well as the Huayra BC track-focused hypercar. All 20 BCs have already been sold, so don’t get out your checkbook. Pagani just hasn’t had the capacity to make them all yet.

The Huayra roadster will also be limited to 100 units--same as the coupe--and like the BC, all of them have already been sold.

Pagani fans will be happy to note that while the Huayra is coming to a close, the replacement to the Huayra is under development. According to Motor1, the car will still use a Mercedes-sourced V12, but won’t feature any form of electrification just yet. A shame, since even a mild hybrid can do wonders for a car’s performance and energy efficiency without adding too much weight.

But we won’t have to wait too long for Pagani to go electric. They’re also rumored to be developing an EV for arrival sometime in the middle of the next decade.
