Pagani has just unveiled their latest supercar, the 800-HP Huayra Roadster BC.

It’s taken a long time for Pagani to scrape the roof off the Huayra BC, but as with all things Pagani, their latest car isn’t simply the previous version with something removed. The Huayra Roadster BC packs a tweaked engine and an all-new body to make it both more powerful and more extreme than ever before.

Starting with the engine, the Mercedes-AMG-sourced 6.0-L twin-turbo V12 now produces 791 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque. That’s 46 more horses than the previous Huayra BC, although that is curiously 36 lb-ft less torque. Power is routed through the same 7-speed Xtrac single-clutch gearbox as before, which Pagani says helps to keep the weight down.

Also keeping the weight down is the carbon fiber body which has been redesigned with all-new aero components, including a new front splitter, new canards, and a new rear diffuser that has gaps to allow the new exhaust to come out of it. Total curb weight is just 2,755 lbs.

Pagani doesn't provide performance stats per se, but they do tell us that the Huayra Roadster BC can pull a sustained 1.9Gs in a turn, maxing out its grip at 2.2Gs and also braking at a maximum of 2.2Gs. All that artificial gravity will definitely whip your hair around. Helping to provide all that grip are specially designed Pirelli PZero Trofeo R tires made just for Pagani, and a total of 1,100 lbs downforce at 174 mph courtesy of the new bodywork.

As much as the car itself is a spectacle, Pagani upped their own ante this time by revealing the Huayra BC first in a mobile video game before unveiling it in person. They showed the Huayra Roadster BC in CSR Racing 2—the world's most popular mobile racing game—before they did anywhere else. This is believed to be the first time a car was revealed in a mobile game.

Just 40 examples of the Huayra Roadster BC are to be built with each priced at $3.5 million. The last Huayra BC sold out almost immediately, so you one-percenters better get on the line to your Pagani dealer tout suite.
