When it comes to new car releases, the most exciting of recent years would seemingly be the new Ford Bronco for 2021. It has been hyped up to new heights, with even the likes of Doug DeMuro getting behind that hype train. Despite the excitement surrounding the new Bronco, there is still a place left in many people's hearts for the classic Bronco. And speaking of classics, Classic Recreations have unveiled a new project of theirs, which is the Bronco restomod designed to rekindle interest in the original Bronco SUV.

Getting Onto The Bronco Hype Train

Pushing aside some of their more notable projects, Classic Recreations have gotten right onboard the Bronco train. As is the norm with Classic Recreations, the body of the car has been restored to absolutely meticulous standards to be as close as possible to factory fresh with a full repaint hiding all the modern tech underneath the retro exterior. And under the hood of the Bronco restomod, is plenty of classic power to get us all excited for the retro Bronco once again.

Under that hood is the Ford Performance 5.0-liter V8 engine, with a custom fuel system,  MagnaFlow system and a radiator that features twin cooling fans. The power output equates to around 460 hp and there is an automatic transmission that, as expected, delivers that V8 power to all four wheels. No Falcon underbody here, the chassis is a Roadster Shop chassis on top of a hardened frame that also features Currie Enterprises solid-beam axles. This is a very well-thought-out creation, but if you want one, it is not going to be cheap.

An Expensive Undertaking

Prices for the Classic Recreations Bronco restomod will start at least $224,990. That is a lot of money, and many people might be wondering if they should just buy a classic Bronco outright, or even try and get hold of a new one. But there is no denying the craftsmanship behind this Bronco build and with air conditioning, a multimedia system, and top-of-the-line audio, there is plenty of modern tech to make a classic Bronco feel like a comfortable, modern daily driver.
