When it comes to marketing, brands go to extreme lengths to get the message across. A majority of brands around the world prefer to use the traditional marketing route. They use billboards, posters, and everything else. Other brands realize the importance of networking as well as digital marketing. They know how these two worlds combine to create a perfect synergy and dedicate big coins to publicize their business. Playboy is among the most recognized lifestyle brands in the world, and even partnered with American Motors Company. On a mission to re-ignite its image, Playboy is expanding in the digital world.

The CNBC Prime YouTube Channel is a popular entertainment center that features exclusive shows, such as American Greed, The Profit, Shark Tank, and more. One show that’s particularly interesting is the Secret Lives of the Super Rich. As the name states, the show takes a peek into the rich people’s lifestyles. One great episode, featuring, Ray Parisi, the face of the show, certainly got our attention. In the episode, Ray took a trip to a private jet hanger at International Jet Interiors. In the hanger, an awesome Global Express BD-700 was receiving a total makeover.

Playboy’s corporate jet cost the company about $12 million, excluding the facelift. After a five-month refurbishment, the jet now highlights the brand’s iconic big bunny across its exterior, and almost every part of the stylish interior. The plane serves as a great marketing tool for the brand. According to the CEO, the jet is usually reserved for top-class folks and celebrities, such as Pamela Anderson and Cardi B, the latter of which has an impressive fleet of vehicles herself.

The Playboy Corporate Jet Is A Sophisticated Piece Of Machinery

As far as revamps go, this has got to be one of the most impressive jet makeovers ever. It’s hard to imagine that the white Bombardier will look like anything close to what it becomes. Playboy paid $12 million to buy this Bombardier Global Express BD-700, the same type of aircraft Celine Dion flies in. Initially, the plane had a solid white color, featuring silver shade trimmings on the wings as well as the engine area. It also came with a soft blue line across the body. Everyone would say the plane already looked ready to play its marketing roles. But Ben Kohn, the CEO of Playboy, had a different idea. He wanted the plane to have a solid black color, to display the big bunny logo in white.

The plane exterior received a jet-black color, which gives it a more bold and unique appearance. The most amazing highlight on the exterior is the big bunny logo. This appears on both ends of the wings, the tail, and the door. The brand added “Playboy” lettering on the underside of the fuselage. Eric Roth from International Jet Interiors estimated the entire painting process to take between 29 and 32 days.

The Playboy jet pays homage to the first Big Bunny plane. The original big bunny was a black-painted DC-9 plane. Flown by Hugh Hefner in the '70s, the big bunny became popular as it whisked celebrities around the world. The new Jet also received the tail number “N95OPB” – the same number on the 1970s big bunny.

The Jet’s Interior Takes Luxury To A Whole New Level

The first thing the guests come across when they step into the jet is the well-designed bar. This is where the flight crew prepares drinks and meals. It gets a fine woodwork and marble finish, which gleams under a long LED light set at the top. The bar also features a lit-up display behind the wine glasses.

The cabin seats come upholstered in cotton linen and camel leather. They provide passengers with a comfy and luxurious experience. The cabin has enough room for up to 13 passengers. The dining area on the plane has a custom table setting, with all items having either the bunny logo, the tail number, or the brand logo. The most amazing feature is the pop-up bar. This bar has a hydraulic system calibrated to the weight of the liquor bottles. To crank up the experience, the jet also gets into a full disco mode. For this, the automated system covers the windows, and a disco ball is set up. The entire cockpit also received a full transformation and has touches of gray, black, and white.

The Vehicle Is Playboy’s Biggest Market Tool

With the jet created, Playboy intends on maximizing its viewership and fanbase. Following its makeover, the plane ferried renowned celeb, Cardi B from New York to Miami. "This is a way for us to work with influencers and celebrities on a global basis, in a collaborative way," Ben Kohn told CNBC. He also stated that aside from the plane, Playboy is set to re-ignite the Playboy mansion in the metaverse. He also sees a world where they have physical mansions, and possibly a Playboy yacht.
