Have you ever just been cruising around in your everyday supercar and realized it just wasn't quite good enough? So you scour the internet in search of a much better one, perhaps a rare and beautiful limited edition Bugatti Veyron. You scroll though countless Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, and maybe even a few humble AMG Mercedes GT cars; but after realizing you already have have two of each of those, you decide to branch out. Then, like a message from the car-gods, you see a video talking about how the one and only Post Malone has decided to sell his McLaren Senna XP, of which only three exist. Lucky for you, YouTuber James "TheStradman" gets the privilege of getting an exclusive look at this amazing vehicle.

Inspired By Success

As the video states, only 500 examples of the "normal" McLaren Senna supercars were ever produced, which already makes it a fairly exclusive car to begin with. The Senna XP was commissioned by McLaren Beverly Hills that wanted a special way of paying tribute to the man who inspired the car in the first place, Ayrton Senna. The result was McLaren converting three of the Senna prototype cars into customer cars and badging them with the name XP, which stands for 'Experimental Prototype'.

The three cars were inspired by three of Senna's most prized achievements: "Home Victory," from when Senna won in Brazil with only 6th gear left in 1991; "Lap of the Gods," where he finished a race in the UK a minute and a half faster than the second place taker; and lastly "Master of Monaco,” after Ayrton's record setting six wins at Monaco.

Each of the cars are powered by McLaren's 4.0L twin turbo V8 making 789 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. As James details in the video, the Senna has some really cool features such as a slim flip-down dash inspired by the F1 car design, and an overhead ignition switch.

Master Of Monaco

Post Malone was lucky enough to acquire the Master of Monaco version. It displays the car's $500,000 option of exposed carbon exterior with gorgeous red and white accents to represent the flag of Monaco. Continuing with the red theme, the interior is graced with beautiful red carbon all over including the seats and steering wheel. And if you thought James couldn't get any luckier, he even got to get a ride in this very special car and talk with Rich Post, father of Post Malone.

As Papa Malone says, his son has decided to sell the car largely because he respects the meaning and heritage of the car and wants it to go to someone who will be able to use and appreciate it in a way that would make Ayrton Senna proud. And for a sensible $1.7 million, that person could be you!
