We see plenty of juiced-up machines in drag races, but the Plymouth Barracuda and its rivals come from another dimension altogether. They’re wheels on steroids and can cough up a massive amount of power and speed.

Then again, edge-of-the-seat drag racing events are a day-to-day affair for the National No Prep Racing Association as their only focus is testing the metal of these cars, minus any track embellishments. Their eponymous YouTube channel National No Prep Racing Association just released a video featuring the “Bad Fish” Barracuda locking horns with other drag strip monsters, including a 100+ PSI diesel truck. Let’s find out who steals the show.

Is “Bad Fish” The Big Fish Here?

“Bad Fish” is Marty Robertson’s drag race-ready 1968 Plymouth Barracuda. This newly transformed Mopar bears a ProCharged Hemi under its hood, which comes from Elite Performance. The high-octane power plant runs on a Liberty five-speed transmission, keeping the output under wraps. Plus, it rides on intimidating Hoosier big tires with wheelie bars at the rear.

Marty also co-owns EliteHP, which is a one-stop-shop for all your motorsports-related needs. They have got an ultramodern 31,000-square foot facility in Fort Worth, Texas that takes care of anything you can think of about drag racing like used race cars, racing engines, parts, and tools.

This is where the “Bad Fish” received the final touches to become a drag race diva. As a member of the Elite Motorsports squad, he has been closely associated with NHRA Pro Stock for quite some time now.

'Bad Fish' Plymouth Barracuda Boosted Decimates 1967 “Boddie” Camaro SS In A No Prep Drag Race

There is madness in the air at the Houston No Prep Kings event held in Baytown, Texas as the crowd gears up to witness some of the fastest cars in no-prep racing.

The Plymouth Barracuda first goes up against the 1967 “Boddie” Camaro SS, which the pro-charged Chevy wins. Next up, it’s the Barracuda against a 100+ PSI Dodge pickup. What makes this race special is that this is a diesel truck, rolling coal to please the fans, with a menacing engine roar given the three turbochargers. Sporting ‘Climate Change’ on its windshield, the truck roars off to a good start, but it’s clear, that the Barracuda has it by its, err, nuts. The “Bad Fish” wins by a huge margin, showing that muscle is always mightier than a pickup. When the “Bad Fish” takes on Kyle’s boosted Camaro, it revenge-wins this time.

Ultimately, this fish proves it’s a shark.
