The highly successful Ram 1500 Classic Warlock is getting a desert makeover with a new Mojave Sand Package.

Earlier this year, Ram introduced the 1500 Classic Warlock. Based on the 2019 Ram 1500 Classic (which is actually an updated 2018 Ram 1500 based on the previous-gen design), the Classic Warlock took the name of a 1970s pickup and turned it into something for the modern era.

As Ram likes to make things dark, the Warlock added an all-black paint job, powder-coated front and rear bumpers, dark headlight surrounds, black-painted 20-inch aluminum wheels, black badging, black tow hooks, and some black Warlock decals on the rear. It also got a 1-inch lift, grey cloth interior, leather steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirror, LED bed lighting, power-folding mirrors, and optional heated seats.

Your choice of 3.6-L Pentastar V6 (rated at 305 hp and 269 lb-ft torque) or 5.7-L HEMI V8 (rated at 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque) also came in either quad or crew cab.

While the dark arts lent itself to a dark exterior, the Warlock didn't only come in black. You could also get it in Blue Streak, Bright Silver Metallic, Bright White, Diamond Black, Delmonico Red, Flame Red, Granite Crystal Metallic, Maximum Steel, Pearl White, and True Blue.

And now with the Warlock Mojave Sane Package, you can get this fantastically appointed pickup in one of FCA's most popular colors: Mojave Sand.

The package isn't just about the paint, though. You also get the Sports Performance hood that was an available option on the Classic Warlock, as well as the same RAM-lettered grille that adorns the Ram Rebel trim.

Although not nearly as feature-rich as the 2020 Ram 1500, the Classic Warlock incorporates many of the modern truck’s upgrades while saving cost by using an older chassis. You can grab the Mojave Sand Warlock for just $35,345 plus $1,695 destination, which is actually what the regular Warlock cost. That means you get a free sports hood.

Sales begin in the third quarter of 2019.
