Old school is cool and Oldsmobile cars can attest to that. The company is now defunct but left a selection of classic cars they produced for more than a century. Gone but not forgotten, this American brand is a big part of automobile history, and it gifted the world with classic vehicles. It was acquired by General Motors in 1908 and was the first to manufacture fully automatic transmissions under the name Hydramatic. Talk about trailblazing! Though a pioneer in the industry, Olds wasn’t able to catch up with its counterparts especially when the market was flooded by imports in the ‘90s.It was the end of an era when Oldsmobile rolled off its assembly line in 2004. Here are some of the fastest cars made by the company, many of which you'll now only find in museums or throwback photos.
