Norm Kraus was famous for his various high-performance machines, particularly special edition muscle cars. Better known as "Mr. Norm,” he was the co-owner of Grand Spaulding Dodge in Chicago, and perhaps sold more Dodge performance vehicles than anyone else in history. He sadly passed away on February 26, 2021. For fans of his work though, a rare chance to own one of his cars has now emerged. Being sold through RK Motors is this Mr. Norm’s Dodge Demon GSS from 1971. And best of all, this is a 1 of 1 edition.

The Demon GSS Has Undergone A Major Restoration

This car has undergone a thorough, ground-up restoration and is believed to be the only blue, black and plaid 1971 Demon GSS ever produced. It is powered by the original 340 cubic inch LA V8 engine, which is correct with Mr. Norm’s tri-power induction. The car is a true H-code A-body, and it comes with the original broadcast sheet and dealership paperwork as well as a binder that’s full of restoration photos taken during the detailed and lengthy rebuild of the car.

There are a lot of details on this car that are correct. The car has the correct heavy-duty suspension, 14- inch Rallye Wheels and the Blue Metallic paint plus the correct vinyl roof over all-original sheet metal. This car is almost a time capsule for originality. The engine bay sees a 2780930 casting number with a September 23rd, 1970 casting date, and a matching 222933 partial VIN. Even the 8.75-inch rear axle is correct with the right 3.91 gears.

Interior Is In Immaculate Condition

The interior of the GSS is as immaculate and impressive as the exterior. The car has correct Plaid and Black benches, with pliable covers that present very well. Demon-branded floor mats protect the carpet, which sees a Hurst shifter framed. A gorgeous deep-dish steering wheel is there for the driver and the trunk has been fully restored too, allowing you and your passengers to easily stow your luggage. As RK Motors says in the listing, this is an incredible piece of MoPar muscle that deserves to be out on the open road, allowing its mighty V8 to stretch its legs.
