RE Amemiya is a brand established for its elegant aero conversions over all generations of RX-7s. Emphasizing functionality and actual power, Re Amemiya's RX-7s are known to be well-rounded cars.

The 1993 Mazda RX-7, which righteously made the list of authentic Japanese rides, remains dominant in automotive forums. It came with great aesthetics and a sly design, but its performance is what truly matters at the end of the day. Most Grand Turismo followers would know how the RX-7 continues to embellish their social media feed.

Even though financial stability plays a huge role in the genuity of requisite parts, many enthusiasts settle for nothing less than an authentic build. Some may settle down for a cheaper model too.

Andy Lin did his homework to learn everything he could about his new car. It was probably the sheer determination that made him follow his vow as he quoted, "From this point forward, my mind was made - I had to have an RE Amemiya-spec RX-7."

Andy came through many moments of conflict on his journey with the RE Amemiya RX-7. One such issue was the shortage of money due to his academia.

Late in 2006, Andy made the heartbreaking but wise decision to sell his FD as he aimed to complete his academic career. However, some dreams are golden and keep shining over time. Holding on to the dream for a long wait of eight years, Andy decided to shoot another shot.

Remodeling from scratch with a brand new chassis, the first draft was completed in two years. After the long wait for the genuine Japanese imported RE Amemiya kit, the car re-emerged exactly as Andy had envisioned.

Unfortunately, a minor setback on a track day resulted in the car being completely decimated. But strong people never give up, and once again, Andy set out to pursue his dreams again.

Having his extravagant golden dream once destroyed, anybody would have understood if Andy chose the alternative spare parts. But to maintain a guilt-free conscience and remain a loyal enthusiast, he decided to stick to the genuine Re Amemiya tuner's spare parts.
