Drifting surely is an art form in itself, and it is a lot harder than it looks to get right. It's about finding the balance between getting your car sideways, and hitting the right speed so that you—well, drift around corners! Many people turn to drifting for a professional motorsport career, and Chad of CB Media highlights a former model who has turned her skills to the drifting world in a wild, 2JZ-Swapped Nissan A31 Cefiro drift car.

She Even Has Her Own Hot Wheels Model!

Nissans are a popular choice when it comes to drifting, so it's no surprise that that's what Christy is driving. Christy is hugely popular in Thailand. She even has her own Hot Wheels-style car, featured as one of Majorette’s die-cast toys, fully licensed as well. And her car is very cool. She bought it five years ago, and it was basically standard, with nothing dramatic on it at all. She then spent two years converting it into a well-made, professional drift car and it now produces 650 hp with a 2JZ turbo engine, which is plenty to drift with, and it runs on E85 fuel. That is 650 hp at the wheel as well. That sure is a lot of power to play with.

There is a drifting event taking place in February at Pathumthani Speedway in Thailand, so this will effectively be extra practice for Christy before the main event. Keep an eye out on Chad’s channel for coverage of that event. Another thing that is worth mentioning is the rear radiator setup. That is simply because it gets so hot in Thailand, so the cars need all the cooling they can get, more so if they are driving with high RPM. It might add some weight, but with how stripped down these cars become, it probably balances out.

Christy heads out on her own to get some practice in before Chad hops in with her. And instantly you can see she has bundles of skill and talent, making it look almost effortless. It clearly isn’t, however she certainly makes it look like anyone could pick it up right away. At the end of the run, you can see coolant being sprayed on the back of the car, highlighting just how hot it gets.
