Besides a lucrative NBA career, O'Neal has released four studio albums, starred in films and a reality television program. Considering that O'Neal has accomplished a lot in his life, he has amassed a fortune that most basketball players strive to attain.

Forbes estimated O'Neal's net worth at $400 million. Having so much money, O'Neal purchased lavish homes, traveled the world and bought numerous cars. His car collection is impressive, as it contains many vehicles that are unique. Since O'Neal is built like a monster truck, he struggled to get into most of the vehicles he purchased. Not one to give up, Shaq employed the services of customizers such as West Coast Customs to modify his vehicles so that he could enjoy the ride. Most of the cars that Shaq bought were outstanding, but after the modifiers completed the jobs, some vehicles looked worse.

We wanted to see what Shaq's cars looked like after the modifications, so we peeked inside his garage. We found modified cars that he should be proud to show off and cars that he should keep locked up in his garage.

25 Slam Dunk: Vaydor

Consumers who want to own a Vaydor such as the one that Shaq owns will have to visit Supercraft Custom Crafted Cars to purchase it. The car rides on air suspension, allowing for 5" adjustments. The customizer personalized the seats and controls to suit Shaq's massive frame.

Since Shaq's 22 size shoes have a hard time getting a good grip on the pedals, the customizer gave the floor lower dash flexibility. The car is an absolute stunner.

Dwayne Johnson isn't the only celebrity who couldn't fit into supercars, as Shaq struggled more. Since O'Neal wanted to experience the blistering speeds of the F355, he was fortunate that the factory built one to accommodate his massive frame.

The automaker built only twenty custom made cars such as Shaq's in twenty years, according to Significant Cars. Since Shaq could fit into the car, he got the opportunity to experience the car's top speed of 183 mph. That's good for a 1999 model.

West Coast Customs wanted to impress Shaq, so the customizer built him a bike in 2001 called the El Diablo. The team considered Shaq's measurements while building the bike, so when the big man got on for a ride, it was a perfect fit.

Discovery Channel documented the building process and aired it on Motorcycle Mania. The yellow flames and the pink handlebars make the vehicle appealing, but it's Shaq's massive frame that will garner all the attention when on-lookers see him riding the bike.

Supercars and SUVs are great cars for public roads, but Shaq wanted the ultimate off-road vehicle. Since Jeep produces some of the best 4x4 vehicles, Shaq bought a Wrangler. Although the car might not be the most comfortable vehicle on the road, it makes up for it with the incredible off-road capability.

Consumers who want one of the best off-road vehicles should not be afraid to part with $28,000 to own the base Wrangler model, while the top trims cost around $40,000.

The German manufacturer produces luxury cars that provide great performance. Shaq knew that and purchased the S550. When Shaq got the ride, he fitted a custom built electrical convertible top, Lorinser body kit, suicide rear door, custom audio system integrated with factory head unit and custom rear suspension, according to Barrett-Jackson.

At the time that Shaq placed the car on the market, it had 7,404 miles on the clock and a purchase price of $99,000 for the 2006 model.

In my opinion, one of the best sports cars to grace the roads is Porsche. While several manufacturers make faster and more elegant vehicles, Porsche provides speed and sophistication at an affordable price. When Shaq bought the Panamera, he contracted West Coast Customs to pimp his ride.

The team did a stellar job on the vehicle, so Shaq thought that he could get good money for the car. He placed the car on eBay, but it reached $52,400, below its reserve price, according to Torque News.

When Shaq goes on tour, he needs a ride that will provide him with the comfort that he desires. Although Shaq had his house for sale for $28 million, he didn't need to buy another one, as he could have used the Big Hoffa as comfortable accommodation. I wouldn't be surprised if Shaq is the only one who rides at the back of this massive van so that he can get the comfort he desires.

Shaq wrote a caption that encouraged fans to honk if they saw him on the road. He stated that he might pull over if fans honked.

Shaq's NBA Championship ring wasn't the only thing on display that day, as the Orange County Choppers team unveiled his bike. The pickup has 26-inch custom wheels, according to Motor 1. When Shaq travels long distances and needs to haul heavy loads, the 1500 will provide all the power he needs.

Having money entitles you to experience luxury all the way. Shaq wanted to have a luxurious and elegant ride, so he bought the Phantom. The car provides plenty of cabin space, good performance, and luxury that Shaq expects. Rolls Royce owners know that they have their hands on a magnificent vehicle, as the British automaker needs six months to produce each vehicle by hand.

The Phantom is one of the most expensive Rolls Royce cars, as the base model carries a whopping price tag of $450,000.

Modifying the Vaydor proved to Shaq that he could fit into a supercar if he alters the design. He used that strategy when he purchased a Lamborghini Gallardo. The Italian supercar doesn't provide ample space for tall, bulky men, so Shaq instructed the customizers to stretch the car.

The result was a supercar that provided stellar performance and space for the big man. The Gallardo can reach a top speed of 199 mph and needs 3.9 seconds to get to 0 to 60 mph.

Celebrity endorsement is one of the reasons that Range Rover has become popular in the mainstream. When numerous celebrities purchase a specific vehicle, most people want to match what the celebrities are driving, so they buy the same car. Ranger Rover, much like the Hummer, saw a rise in sales due to celebrity endorsements.

Considering that the Range Rover has a base price of $90,000, most average folks can't afford it but can strive to attain it one day.

Since Shaq needs a tremendous amount of headspace, the obvious choice in cars was a convertible. Shaq wanted a combination of speed and headspace, so he settled for a convertible Challenger. The car can achieve a top speed of 168 mph to reach 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds.

Once Shaq hung up his 22 size basketball sneakers, he wanted to give back to society. The best way he knew how to was by becoming a cop. The Clayton County Sheriff's Office in Jonesboro, Georgia had sworn in Shaq as a Sheriff's Deputy.

10 Miss: Four-Seater Polaris Slingshot

One of the vehicles that modifiers love due to its ability to provide numerous aspects of modifying is the Polaris Slingshot. Although the Slingshot is a good vehicle for modifications, Shaq's modification is an anomaly. To make sure that he could fit inside the vehicle, Shaq told the customizers to stretch the vehicle.

After the customizers stretched the vehicle, Shaq saw that he could fit inside and that the vehicle had extra space for passengers, so he asked the team to fit two extra seats.

9 Miss: Chevrolet G1500

Once Shaq modifies his vehicles, he drives them around until he gets bored of them, then he sells the vehicles. That's what happened with the modified G1500. On the front of the car is the Superman symbol that Shaq likes to put on his cars to make him feel bigger than he is, and he also lowered the suspension.

In an attempt to make the car look more elegant, Shaq fitted chrome rims. Considering that the G1500 is meant to support Shaq and his friends, he shouldn't have lowered it.

8 Miss: Cadillac DTS

Although the Slingshot might be a perfect vehicle to modify, one of the cars that could look worse once modified is a Cadillac. The U.S. automaker made the DTS look elegant and made it so that it could provide businessmen with luxury. Once Shaq got a hold of it, he turned it into a gangster vehicle.

Apart from fitting red rims and speakers in the car, he called it the Shaq-A-Lac. O'Neal has never shied away from expressing his opinions on national television, so he didn't have a problem with naming the Cadillac a Shaq-A-Lac.

7 Miss: GMC Sierra Denali

The F-series has been the best selling vehicle in the U.S. for several decades, and Shaq wanted to see why people made a fuss about the vehicle. He wasn't satisfied with the standard model, so Shaq wrapped it in gold and lifted the pickup. Not only does the gold wrap not suit a pickup, but the raised suspension makes the car look less elegant.

Although Shaq might need space, the raised suspension makes the vehicle look tacky and doesn't provide additional interior space. With the raised suspension, Shaq is almost the same height.

6 Miss: Ford F-250

Regardless of the vehicle size that Shaq purchases, he is unsatisfied with it. He has to modify it to suit his needs, and that is what he did when he purchased the F-250. The first modification that Shaq performed was raising the suspension. Shaq wanted to get a better view of the road than other drivers.

Although Shaq could get into the pickup without needing running boards, he thought about his passengers who aren't over 7 feet tall. I'm surprised that he didn't place the Superman symbol on the front of the car.
