Sherrod Customs is a truck customizer and tuner out of Waycross, Georgia. They offer several models based on offerings from the Dodge RAM, Ford F-Series, GMC Sierra, and the Chevrolet Silverado. Out of all of their models, however, this new package caught my eye. And while I'm a definite fan of the Blue Oval, this Sherrod Customs' Chevrolet Silverado Z71 Eclipse: Total Blackout looks great both off-road and in a tuxedo, doesn't it?

It's packed with a number of performance features and decked out in an interior and exterior package that really set it apart for other custom jobs. Let's see what Sherrod cooked and if it's worth the extra scratch.

The Eclipse: Total Blackout Package

The list of features included in the Eclipse: Total Blackout package is long and deep, and unlike many other custom lifted trucks this one is stuffed with features and mods that actually make sense and transform the Eclipse into a purposeful off-roader. Sherrod starts with a 6" GM Sherrod Private Labeled lift kit, Durable extended front knuckles, adds 1/4" plate steel on the front and rear cross members, upper and lower height increasing strut spacers, custom billet CV spacers, and differential drop brackets and an armored skid plate.

Next up are custom brake lines and extension, nitrogen filled shocks, 22" x 10" custom Sherrod wheels shod with 35" Toyo Open Country sneakers, a high speed balancing, and a 4 wheel laser alignment.

In the looks department, the Eclipse gets custom black painted trim, designer leather pieces with Sherrod headrest embroidery, flat black exterior side emblems, Sherrod custom wheel running boards, flat black grill and bumper logos, and Flowmaster mufflers.

So What Do You Think?

The end result is a truck that not only is comfortable going off-road but looks equally the part for a black tie affair. What do you think? Buckle up?
