It's a good guess that YouTuber Shmee150 owns at least 20 high-end cars, many of them supercars. With the start of 2023, he's decided to give an update on his collection. But, like many of us, he's also got an intriguing project car in his garage.

In this video, check out his impressive collection and hear about his plans for the year.

Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Mercedes...But Don't Forget The New Lotus In Shmee's Collection

Over his 13 years on YouTube, Shmee has provided plenty of coverage for the most celebrated cars in his collection, including some fearsome Ferraris and some meticulously-engineered Mercedes-Benz machines.

From his first car, the 2016 McLaren 765 LT Spider to the ultimate hypercar, the Zenvo TSR-S, the collective horsepower in his garage is staggering. The expense to maintain and insure each car also is mind-blowing, with several of them costing well over $10,000 a year to keep on the road.

One of Shmee's newer acquisitions is a yellow 2022 Lotus Emira. He's covered its delivery on his sister YouTube channel Shmuseum but has yet to make a test-drive video. Perhaps because this car is, as he says, a very "unLotus-like Lotus."

Compared to earlier Lotuses like the Exige and the Evora, the Emira's interior got designed to be driver-friendly with better ergonomics. It also reveals its V6 supercharged engine through its rear window, which is a cool and unusual feature on a sports car like this. We hope to see Shmee take it out as a daily driver soon.

Despite his penchant for supercars like his newly reacquired Lamborghini Huracan STO, Shmee also has a soft spot for hot hatches.

Among those he owns is a Renault Sport Clio V6, which might be one of his more costly projects.

When Shmee bought the early-2000s hot hatch, it hadn't gotten started for years and had a good bit of body damage. He spent about $20,000 in repairs and upgrades, which is what the car originally cost when new.

Still, with only 1,300 Clios produced, he has a rare car that would now sell for upwards of $80,000. Driving it, though, seems to be as fun for him as some of his other more glamorous rides.

The YouTuber's future cars include a Ford-powered Morgan Super 3 roadster. He also has two Ferraris on order : a 296 GTS and the V12-powered Purosangue SUV. With these cars and other unnamed projects in the queue, it looks like 2023 will be a full and exciting year for Shmee.
