You may not know Colin Furze but at least 10 million people do. This is the number of YouTube subscribers on his channel. The former plumber has achieved such a large audience by making crazy stuff such as the fastest bumper car in the world, the fastest mobility scooter (with a 125 cm³ engine), and even a motorized pram. This time, Furze decided to turn a BMW Z3 into a James Bond machine. All gadgets, which he created himself, actually work.

Top Gear Gave Furze A Hand

The idea seems to have been given by the guys from Top Gear, with whom Furze often collaborates. The Stig gets to drive some of his creations, such as the bumper car. He also makes an appearance in the video above. We’d say he is one of the victims of the wildest gadget in the car, which Furze named as an “internal camouflage system.”

A Smoking BMW Z3

What happens when the youtuber clicks the switch is heavy smoke coming out of the air vents. Furze warns that the smoke is not toxic and of the “theatrical” kind, which suggests it uses dry ice. In another video, in which the YouTuber explains the changes, he discloses that it is actually a 12V smoke machine. The intended result is a lot of smoke that could help hide a secret agent man with the bad luck to drive it. The practical outcome would probably be to drive a lot of people trying to save the occupants from a fire with extinguishers and quite some mess.

Live And Let Fry

Colin Furze made a James Bond BMW Z3

Talking about smoke, the BMW Z3 has flamethrowers below the front grille. He uses it to roast a chicken. It is obvious the end result was not obtained by the flame throwers, but it is fun nonetheless: you get some laughs with him joking about James Bond movie names.

A Fifth Wheel Like You Have Never Seen

The back of the BMW Z3 is where most of the changes were concentrated. Furze put airsoft guns to protrude from the rear bumper at the flick of a switch. It is deeply associated with the weirdest fifth wheel you have ever seen. No, it is not for making towing easier, but rather to move the back of the car anywhere you want. Furze uses it to take better shots at a Stig target.

Greasing Your Oversteer Skills

The best gadget Furze added to the Z3 is an oil deployment system that sprays oil on the rear wheels, making it easier for the tail to dance and help the 007 wannabe in charge escape the bad guys in style. Last, but not least, is the button hidden in the gear nob. We were expecting it to eject the youtuber out of the BMW, but it made something else. Grab your tea to check what it is: you’ll thank us for that in the end.
