The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo looks almost ready for production doing the last testing before its launch. It will be the sedan version of the Taycan Cross, with a longer and more dramatic sloping roof, a trend on SUVs and Crossovers, that's been growing every year for a decade now. It will also be a little bit taller and rugged than the regular Porsche Taycan, for improved driving on harsher roads and conditions. We expect it to be equipped with the same engine offered in the Porsche Taycan, with a power output ranging from 530 hp to 761 hp depending on the model trim.

Porsche's Plans

The car is part of Porsche's plan to conquer the electric market, with a solid investment of €10 Billion (approximately $10.7B) by 2024 all dedicated to boost and solidify its share of the electric mobility market. For the middle of this decade, Porsche is aiming to offer all of its model range with an electrified option, so expect a lot more coming next year.

The Taycan Cross Turismo premiered as a concept two years ago at the Geneva Motor Show. It will be introduced and sold this year or early next year at the latest due to the current situation, as detailed by Porsche in last's year announcement "We are confident that we will also be able to generate high demand in 2020 as a result of the attractiveness of the Taycan and our 911, 718 and Cayenne derivatives.”
