Car manufacturers all over the globe are slowly edging towards electric vehicles, as fast as they can. It isn’t just family cars that are heading for electrical propulsion either, as pickup trucks are also going electric, such as the Ford F-150 Lightning and the Chevrolet Silverado EV. RAM is also set to get in on the electric truck act, and we have already seen some concepts. But now the company is showing off more noteworthy designs that look like they could be closer to the 2024 production version.

Somewhat Secretive Images

The images released by Stellantis and Ram are quite secretive as to what they really reveal. The dark nature of the background means we can’t quite see a lot of the truck. The shot of the front though does reveal part of the truck's lighting styling. The daylights are split into two on both sides of the fascia, and spit and spread out as they head towards the car's fenders. They very neatly draw in to the Ram name on the grille, which looks illuminated as we might expect on a lot of electric vehicles.

The Overall Style Of The Electric Body

The overall styling of the body is quite difficult to make out. The fenders at the front and rear are just about visible, but the front teaser has the back of the truck encased in a flash of light, so as we get to the bed it's trickier to make details out. The overall shape of the body does look to be smooth and flowing, and much more akin to what you could expect from something like a modern EV. The rear teaser though does also offer some clues.

A Chunky Looking Rear End On The Truck

That rear end looks rather chunky, with a very square back flap for the bed, and we can just make out the Ram lettering on the rear fascia. It is clearly highlighted in red, and the taillight strips are visible going out from the Ram lettering and down the side of the car. It looks like illuminated badging will be a key part of this truck's style set. However, it must be clearly stressed that while these look close to a production version as opposed to a concept, this design could very rapidly change upon its official reveal. It does though give us a bit of a look at a possible Ram electric truck design.
