The unit is listed on eBay by Ferrari Maserati of Fort Lauderdale, and is in like-new condition with only delivery miles on the odometer. The triplet supercar is finished in McLaren Orange over Black and features the signatures of Bruce McLaren and Denny Hulme on rear fenders. Other unique features include a 25 horsepower upgrade, unique louvered fender design, carbon fiber engine surround with MSO logo and Heritage Badge on the bonnet. A full listing of all the features can be found on the eBay listing.

McLaren’s 1969 Season

The Senna Can-Am was built in 2019 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of McLaren's dominant performance in the 1969 Can-Am season. Bruce McLaren and Denny Hulme won all 11 of the Canadian American Challenge Cup races in 1969, with McLaren himself crowned the champion collecting six wins driving the McLaren M8B car for the McLaren Race Team.

The Senna Can-Am is themed around the M8B race car, and only three were built. These are the only street-legal factory-built Senna GTR models. This example is number 3 of 3, and the only Senna Can-Am to feature a hand-painted 50th Anniversary commemorative badge on its right flank.

Different Than Standard Can-Am

In comparison to the standard Senna road car, the McLaren Senna Can-Am road car is built on the GTR race car chassis. In addition, it also features McLaren’s signature orange paint, with Bruce McLaren’s race #4 on the right side and Denny Hulme’s #5 on the other, along with the signature of each driver on the rear fender.

In an attempt to emulate the M8B’s signature rear wing, the Can Am rear wing is painted liquid silver and highlighted with white end plates. In addition, liquid silver painted rearview mirrors stand out, and the signature “McLaren Cars” script with kiwi logo adorns each door.
