Necessity is the mother of invention – for example, the need to make cars more efficient nowadays has given rise to cars such as the Tesla Model S and the Mercedes EQS.

Over on Supercar Blondie’s YouTube channel, we can see something which makes us question what led to this vehicle coming to life – although it isn’t a vehicle; it’s a robot dinosaur.

Also, it doesn’t just look scary and move, as it can destroy things and shoot fire.

Let’s have a look at what it does exactly at its current stop-off in Vegas and what its main features are.

This robot that Blondie and her guest Lia (@Sssniper Wolf) are here to review is a fully working, fully-featured T.Rex on wheels.

It moves forward and back and can turn, as well as bend up and down and lay with its head on the floor so that you can get into the cockpit located in the head (which we see the host do too – it looks difficult).

Inside the cockpit we can see the inner workings and controls – there are many – and there is no luxury or paneling here; it’s all cables and screens, buttons, and electronics which somehow look like they are from 20 years ago.

It is from 20 years ago – that is how long it takes to build something like this, with no cost given it clearly would be a huge number, especially as it literally takes a ton of soldering material to make it.

For the Robosaurus, as well as being a 20-year work in progress, it weighs 28 tons and can also fold itself up to go onto the back of a transport truck, so it’s practical—not Toyota Camry practical, but not bad.

It has controls inside for each hand of the operator controlling the jaws and other features, plus a two-step safety mechanism for the fire element, where flames shoot from the nostrils.

With sharp and strong teeth we see can Robosaurus pick up and bite clean through a large barrel of beer, and it can easily pick up a car and tear it into pieces.

This robot gets operated and shown off at shows by Adam—someone we see a few times during the video, and we think he probably has one of the coolest jobs in the world.
