Don’t know who Tavarish is? Well to keep things short, Tavarish is an American YouTuber and he is mostly known for his rebuilding videos where he takes abandoned or broken cars and restores them to their former glory. But in his latest video, he is doing something a bit different. He has found an abandoned private jet worth $25 million just lying in the woods while out on set filming for his channel.

A Remarkable Find

Tavarish was on the set of Car Trek 3, filming the Christmas special when he came across the abandoned fuselage of what looked to have been a private jet. Specifically, it was the middle section of a Dassault Falcon 900, a trijet, called so due to its three engine arrangement in the back, and development of the Falcon 50. Both are relatively advanced aircraft for the category they are in. The aircraft first flew in 1984 and it has been in production ever since then.

But why on earth was the fuselage of a Falcon 900 just sitting around in the woods? Well, the person who owns the 100-acre property was supposed to put the aircraft in a tree, to sort of hang out in the woodland where it would become a bit of a treehouse. But it didn’t work out, so it is just sat on the floor of the woods and the fuselage of the aircraft is substantially complete. The airframe of this aircraft was probably life expired, which is why it ended up dumped on someone’s property.

Abandoned In The Forest

To find anything like this just sitting around is pretty cool – and not something you are going to find every day of the week! The sad thing about it was that there was no formal identification for the particular aircraft, as the tailplane was mostly missing which is where the identification would have been placed. It probably had quite an interesting career.
