The Porsche Taycan's popularity is rising. With all the records being broken and the availability of a new entry-level model, the Taycan is simply sparking a very capable electric car proposition. Nevertheless, a Taycan can be made more electrifying with the help of TechArt, a Porsche personalization specialist based in Germany.

A New Look For The New Porsche Taycan

TechArt's name of the game for the Porsche Taycan is personalization. While the company offers a line of upgrades, both inside and out, for the Taycan, the team can sit down with clients and discuss what they want to be done to their EV. These further customization works from TechArt, however, requires extra payment.

Exterior modifications for the Taycan might not look as drastic as those offered on other Porsche models, however, a closer look reveals that TechArt's Taycan sports a redesigned front bumper, different side skirts, as well as a larger rear diffuser. According to the company, all these Taycan add-ons were tested on the wind tunnel.

More Thorough Changes In Taycan's Blacked-Out Cabin

On the other hand, the interior is where most of the more drastic customization works happened. The cabin is wrapped in jet-black Alcantara and perforated leather. While the precisely stamped leather perforations feature a honeycomb structure, TechArt can customize these perforation structures according to the styling preferred by the customer.

The jet-black Alcantara and leather combination on the seat and backrests is contrasted dynamically by leather piping in contrasting colors. Since the leather piping is also found on the door trim, dashboard, floor and trunk mats, the cabin evokes a sense of sporty continuity.

This custom Taycan comes with the company's signature element: the custom-made TechArt sports a steering wheel. Featuring elements in contrasting colors, the steering wheel can feature painted surfaces, leather and Alcantara segments, as well as carbon fiber trims, matching piping, stitching, and perforations.

Complementing the modifications on the Taycan is a set of new wheels, which is also offered for the Cayenne. Dubbed as the TechArt Formula VI forged aluminum wheels, these lightweight rims feature slender spokes with sport-oriented styling. The TechArt Formula VI wheels are available in 10.0 x 22 inches on the front and 11.5 x 22 inches on the rear.
