Ram Trucks is coming up with something special for the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. In fact, Ram is creating not just one, but five special edition trucks. These five creations were aptly named Ram 1500 “Built to Serve Edition” trucks honoring one of the five US military service branches -- Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard.

Each truck is wrapped in two exclusive exterior paint colors representing a certain military service. Gator and Diamond Black are a nod to the US Army. Ceramic Gray and Patriot Blue, on the other hand, honor the US Navy. Anvil and Billet Silver represent the US Air Force, while Tank and Flame Red salute the US Marines. Lastly, Spitfire and Bright White pay homage to the US Coast Guard.

According to Ram, 1,000 trucks will be produced for each of the colors representing the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines. Only 500 units will be built for the Coast Guard edition. Overall, 9,000 units of the Ram Built to Serve Edition trucks will be produced. Better get one before they run out!

All Built to Serve Edition trucks are marked by an all-black grille and surround, black bumpers and black-bezel premium lighting. These dark elements are complemented by badges, wheel-to-wheel side steps as well as dual four-inch exhaust tips – all in black. The rear panels are adorned with a US flag and Built to Serve decals.

Occupants will find themselves accommodated in cloth and vinyl sport seats, with the front seats (and their inboard shoulder panels) featuring Velcro panels. The back panels of the front seats come with PALS/MOLLE webbing for attaching extra storage. Interestingly, owners can personalize their special edition trucks with their own patches such as name tags, slogans, or even flags.
