Gran Turismo 7 recently hit the gaming stores worldwide, marking the first true Gran Turismo title in nearly a decade after the stripped-back Gran Turismo Sport. This year marks 25 years since the very first Gran Turismo was released, making Gran Turismo 7 a very important release, and it is fair to say it hasn’t gone entirely to plan thanks to microtransactions and car cost controversy, but things do now seem to be moving forwards somewhat.

Despite the issues, Gran Turismo 7 offers an amazing collection of cars for players to enjoy. At the time of release, there were over cars 400 in the game, and new ones plus new tracks will soon be coming. But what are the coolest cars that you can get within the game? What are the ones that will make you stop and immediately wish you owned them? Well, here is a list of what we think might be the 10 coolest cars that players can currently obtain in Gran Turismo 7.

10 1992 Honda NSX-R

The 1992 NSX-R has to be one of the coolest iterations of the NSX ever. A lightweight version made for Japan only, the improved interior, suspension, and lightweight changes to the car made this perhaps the ultimate form of the early NSX.

The fact we can get our hands on it in Gran Turismo 7 is a delight to many Honda fans, and we already see it becoming one of the most popular cars in the game.

With 600 hp on tap, the S1 Pikes Peak is a dirt racing monster of a car and one of the most popular high-performance machines currently available in Gran Turismo 7—and one of the most badass looking too.

The McLaren F1 GTR was first added for Gran Turismo 4. This is the car most famous for winning the 1995 24 Horus Of Le Mans, and it has a very strong place in the history of the British manufacturer and race team.

In Gran Turismo 7 it appears in the 1997 #42 livery of the 1997 Le Mans. That year, the car sadly failed to finish the race.

The Ferrari F40 is considered by many to be the greatest Ferrari ever made. And while that of course is entirely subjective, it is 100% a Ferrari icon. The twin-turbo V8 engine produces a glorious sound and delivers buckets of power.

And that mythical 201-mph top speed only adds to the value and iconic status of the car. It is undoubtedly one of the game’s coolest cars to collect.

The Nissan Silvia is available in a few forms within the game, but it is in the Spec R Aero Touring Car form where it is perhaps at its coolest. In the stunning orange livery, it really stands out from the crowd, and we first saw this particular car in the series with Gran Turismo 5.

And at a cost of 18,000,000 within the Legend Car Dealership, it isn’t exactly an easy car for fans to acquire either, but it's well worth it.
