Indian Scout is a motorcycle built by the Indian Motorcycle Company from 1920-1949. This model rivaled the Chief as the most important model in the Indian Motorcycle Company lineup, in terms of popularity and sales.

The 101 Scout, which was produced from 1928 till 1931, has been called the best Indian motorcycle ever produced. The second line of Scouts was introduced in 1932 at the same time as the Standard Scout, replacing the 101 version and sharing its frame with the Chief.

The small-displacement Scout and the Sport version were both introduced in 1934, and were continuously made until the end of production in 1942. The cycle is powered by a 69 cubic inch, 100 horsepower V-Twin engine that can provide quick acceleration and extreme power to go from 0-60 miles per hour in no time at all. Taking in consideration that the time for the 2015 Indian Scout was 3.7 seconds.

The 2020 Scout was inspired by the original 1920 Scout. The look was complete with a headlight, handlebars, wheels, and fenders that all give a nod to the original version of the Scout.

The first Scout was introduced in October 1919 as the 1920 model year. The Scout used a side valve V-twin engine with the transmission bolted to the engine and allowing a geared primary drive. This was the only American V-twin engine to use this system at the time. The Scout engine originally used a 37 cubic inch, but the size was increased to 45 cubic inches in 1927 in a response to the new and popular Excelsior Super X.

In addition to the look being very reminiscent of the 1920 Scout, the newer version got an extreme update into the modern world of bikes. Premium chrome provides plenty of shine and a modernized look that is popular in the 21st century.
