The 2022 C-Class Gets Innovative Engines And Technology
Since spotting seven upcoming C-Classes driving in the wild, Mercedes-Benz has lifted the cover to reveal more specs. At the heart of the new C-Class drivers will find a new 4-cylinder engine that produces 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. According to Mercedes, its integrated starter generator technology can even add an additional 20 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque for short spans. They also announced that a plug-in hybrid version is on the way with up to 62 miles of all-electric range.
Inside of all-new C-Class models, owners will find a more driver-centric control stack and the latest version of MBUX, the Mercede-Benz User Experience.
