One of the reasons why the 1930 Cadillac V-16 was popular among car enthusiasts was the fact that each one was designed to the individual taste of Caddy’s clients. As the name implies, the V-16’s engine carried sixteen cylinders and generated 185 HP and could reach 100 MPH. This speed was insane at the time and the V-16 Series 452 quickly rose to stardom and became the bespoke car that delivered performance to those who could afford it.

The Phaeton was built by the popular coach builder Fran Roxas, and he built the car from the designs of Cadillac’s very own designer, John Hampshire. The Phaeton’s awe-inspiring presence was enough to draw in lots of collectors who all vied for ownership. The car was later sold for $962,500.

11 1941 Series 62 Convertible

The 1941 Series 62 was styled by the famous car designers, Earl Harley and Bill Mitchell. Both designers drew inspiration from the ongoing American Space Program and designed the Series 62 with an iconic rocket-like exterior. And no doubt ’41 was one of Cadillac's best sales years.

The 2008 Cadillac had a great performance and that may be because the German-built chassis was sturdy and stable and provided a smooth ride for the car. The engine offered 304 HP and 273 LB-FT of Torque. With 58,774 units of the 2008 CTS sold in 2008, the car would go on to trigger the highest CTS sale after the 2005 model.
