Tom Brady, quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers National Football League (NFL) team now, formerly of the New England Patriots from 2001-2019, is widely known as the best quarterback in the history of the NFL. In his career, he has won seven Super Bowls and played in ten. Holding nearly every major record a quarterback can hold from passing yards to touchdowns, there is no doubt that Tom Brady knows his way around a football field.

What is a little less known about the superstar player is that, in addition to collecting Super Bowl rings, he also collects cars. With a net worth over $250 million estimated (not to mention his supermodel/entrepreneur wife, Gisele Bundchen’s, net worth of over $400 million) there is not much that Brady cannot afford to add to his garage.

With over $4 million in vehicles estimated to be parked in his garage including models from Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, and Bugatti, it is clear that Brady has an affinity for super speed and style. The most insane car in his collection, though, is also the most expensive and must be his Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport.

Let’s take a closer look at why the Bugatti Veyron is the most insane car in Tom Brady’s collection!

The Bugatti in Brady’s garage is no normal super car. It is one of the fastest street legal production cars in the world. In fact, it held the title from Guinness World Records as “fastest production car” from 2010 until 2017. It had a top recorded speed of 267.856 MPH at that time, although when sold to the masses, an electronic limited was added to limit speed to 258 MPH, it is still an undeniable fast car.

The mid-engine sports car was developed in a collaborative effort between Volkswagen Group and Bugatti and manufactured in France. The Veyron got its name fittingly from racing driver Pierre Veyron, who drove in the French Grand Prix from 1933 through 1953 and largely raced in a Bugatti Type 57C.

The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport won several awards and was made in several iterations and trims. The version in Brady’s collection is valued at over $3 million (making it the most expensive car in his collection) and is extremely rare. In the ten years of production of the Super Sport, only 450 Veyron were produced. They were collected by other elites as well: Tom Cruise, Jay-Z, and Simon Cowell each own one, too.

In addition to the Bugatti, Brady also owns another popular “millionaires' car,” a Rolls-Royce Ghost from 2015. Even after Brady began working with Aston Martin, he was seen out and about in the Ghost, a strong hint that it might be one of his favorites. With a 6.6-liter V12 engine, the Ghost is capable of an impressive 563 horsepower. At a cost of around $325,000, it is also the height of luxury with aluminum accents in the interior, wood dash trim, leather seats, a power lift gate, and a sixteen-speaker sound system.

In 2017, Brady began a partnership and promotion deal with Aston Martin. In exchange, the football legend was gifted a new DB11. For those who have to purchase the car, it would cost just over $210,000. The car has a rear-mounted eight-speed transmission created by ZF Friedrichshafen, a V12 engine capable of up to 600 horsepower, and can go from 0-60 MPH in just 3.8 seconds.

Through the same sponsorship, Brady was invited to design his own iteration of the Aston Martin Vanquish S Volante just before Super Bowl LIII. The company then sold the design as a limited-edition model. Only twelve of the specific design were made and shipped in 2018, making it another extremely rare ride. The Vanish S comes equipped with a 5.9-liter V12 engine capable of up to 595 horsepower and can go from 0-60 MPH in just 3.5 seconds. It is valued at just under $360,000, but its rarity as a collectible car could easily bump those numbers in an auction situation.

Another of the more insane rides that Tom Brady has collected includes a 2015 Ferrari M458-T. This expensive sports car comes equipped with a 4.5-liter F136 V8 engine that boasts up to 562 horsepower. It can reach a top speed of 210 MPH and accelerate to 60 MPH in less than three seconds. The Ferrari is valued at just shy of $250,000.

The lineup of amazing cars doesn’t stop there. Tom Brady and his wife have also been seen out and about or own/owned at various times a 2009 Audi R8, 2011 Land Rover Range Rover, and at least three hybrid/EVs including a Tesla Model S, Cadillac Escalade Hybrid, Lexus RX Hybrid, and Lexus GS 450H. In fact, Brady is a huge fan of EVs, even going so far as to become part of an advertising campaign by Hertz to increase rentals of EVs in 2021.

With all of these amazing choices in his garage, it is clear that Tom Brady has great taste in vehicles. Of these, however, the most insane car in his collection is the speed record-breaking, incredibly rare, $3 million Bugatti Veyron.
