The vintage legend Ferrari 250 GT SWB is a real inspiration behind designing and building the RML SWB. The new car offers Scaglietti's original design with space-age engineering and enhanced royalty. The beautiful piece of engineering is only possible with the most pioneered individuals of the RML group. They have a limited stock of 30 units, which will be available around the world.

The carmaker has another name termed the 'RML Short Wheelbase', which has made itself a compatible GT that integrates a raft of augmented features. They have engineered a custom-made chassis with full bodywork crafted from carbon fiber. Michael Mallock, RML's Chief Executive, has made a statement about RML SWB that, "The Short Wheelbase was never conceived to compete, Top Trumps-style, with a typical supercar's acceleration or top speed." Additionally, he has classified this speedster as moving one step ahead with a more organic driving experience. He strongly believes the all-new RML SWB will offer smooth and convenient rides on modern roads.

The Legendary 1959 Ferrari 250 GT SWB came with a 3-liter V12. The RML SWB adorns a front-mounted Ferrari V12 – a scarce breed as well. The powerplant belts out 478 HP and 419 pound-feet of torque, making it more potent than its inspiration – Ferrari 250 GT SWB. The RML Group mentioned the engine’s displacement at 5,474 CC, making it a well-suited supercar for Ferrari lovers.

The British company has made it with a massive engine and six-speed stick shaft, which is unlike the original Ferrari. The speedster will touchdown from 0-60 MPH in just 4.1 secs with its highest velocity reaching 185 MPH. The RML SWB achieves full-on controllability through its open-gated manual shift. Furthermore, the new SWB will have a visible fuel filler cap and air vents behind each wheel.

The inner beauty of a brand new RML SWB is the same as the 1959 Ferrari 250 GT SWB, though the latter is longer than the previous one in length. The original 250 GT SWB stands with a length of 170 inches, and the latest new SWB has 168 inches, 2 inches less than the older car Ferrari 250 GT SWB. The RML group of engineers has immensely worked on the interior design to accommodate the latest weight distribution and ergonomic requirements.

The automotive firm is inclined to think that people with heights up to 6'6'' can happily fit in the RML SWB. Even though it looks aesthetically old, the luxurious RML SWB is shoehorned with all-new features offering 21st-century comfort and convenience. The interior has features like electrically adaptable seats and sat-nav, cup holders, smartphone connectivity, and air-conditioning arrangement, which add to the extravagance of the RWL SWB. However, in such circumstances, these arrangements upsurge the weight of RML SWB. The fiber-body RML SWB has a dry weight of around 3,240 pounds. In conjunction with electrically operable seats, RML SWB also offers electric windows and mirrors. Not to forget the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is visible in the RML SWB.

“After almost three years, we are nearing completion of the Short Wheelbase’s development,” said Michael Mallock. RML is yet to make any announcement regarding the price of this beauty. The only good news about the all-new RML SWB is that they will start accepting the orders late this year. “Old is Gold” is proven by the original 250 GT SWB sold in the astonishing range of $8-10 million at auction. The Ferrari lovers are still waiting for the price reveal of the reimagined RML SWB.
