The Rock and John Cena are what we call frenemies. They have wrestled it out in WWE and extended their “rivalry” as well as friendship to Hollywood where they’ve given exceptional performances in several Hollywood hits.

But the most notable of all is in the Fast and Furious franchise.

While Dwayne Johnson brought a new challenge and freshness to the movie on its fifth installment, his masculine vendetta with Vin Diesel was passed on to John Cena in the 9th installment, after a fallout between the Rock and some of the movie’s actors.

And given the similar shoes they both fit in, it’s only befitting that assuming Vin’s monster is out of the picture, people ask who of these two clobbering giants has the better car collection. Here’re 5 of the best from each, for you to decide.

10 Pagani Huayra – The Rock

Dwayne Johnson surely knows what being furious is – especially as a cop, and turns out he’s also good at being fast. In 2017, he graced the premiere of HBO’s hit show Ballers in a $1.3 million Pagani Huayra.

Wait, he was able to fit in that thing? Yes. Turns out his barrel chest isn’t much of squeezer for the low riding car. However, CarBuzz reports that there were signs of struggle as he tried to get out of the machine and pose for pictures at the red carpet. And after a short splashing of his pearly whites, he laughed the size troubles off and said “Vin” for the cameras.

9 Ferrari LaFerrari Matte White – The Rock

In what might be translated to a strong petrol head statement, The Rock made sure he was among the very few owners of the Ferrari LaFerrari when the spirited 950hp hybrid beast made its debut. For The Rock’s collection, he chose the rare matte white version, with everything else full spec.

However, he didn’t get to use this ride for long after, yet again, he had sizing issues. Turns out the team at Ferrari didn’t put into the picture how a masculine 6’4 giant would fit in the white hypercar. Dwayne, thus, ended up taking photos with the car more than actually driving it.

8 Custom Built Ford F-150 Pickup – The Rock

Supercars just don’t work for Dwayne Johnson. But this right here extenuates his persona. And in an even more befitting fashion, he had the Ford F-150 custom-built to his specs. To make it even better, the rock mentioned the Ford F-150 as his favorite truck, according to AutoEvolution.

But why not? The Ford F-150, apart from being America’s best-selling pickup truck of all time, is a machine properly built for utility, surviving an apocalypse, and driving astronauts on Mars’ craters. The Rock is so much in love with his F-150 that it rarely misses an appearance on his Instagram page.

Well, did the man who tried to beat down Vin Diesel finally learn? No. Yet again, The Rock added another supercar to his collection – the 2017 Ford GT. You should note that a lesser toned and shorter Jeremy Clarkson struggled to get through this car’s roll cage when filming for the Grand Tour.

Nonetheless, that didn’t stop Dwayne from spotting this beauty. To add the cherry on top, The Rock is Ford’s ambassador and was first spotted next to this vehicle in 2017 when he was taking a tour of the factory, trying to understand the production process better.

Of course, for a man who once held the crown of the highest-paid actor in Hollywood, according to Forbes, a Rolls-Royce would be befitting. And for The Rock, his taste is for the 6.5L V12 Twin-Turbo Rolls-Royce Wraith.

When he’s not holding his famous Gatling gun in one hand, he has his hands on this wheel. He was spotted hopping from this wraith into a private jet and that sure portrayed how stylish it is to move around in this luxury vehicle. Priced at $317,000, it’s surprisingly one of the Rock’s cheaper rides.

5 1969 AMC AMX – John Cena

John Cena is defined by muscle. Not just professionally, but as a petrol head too. And in his vast collection of fast cars that just can’t handle (that was the typical muscle car back in the day), is the 1969 AMC AMX.

A grand tourer rather, this green two-seater was in production between 1968 and 1970 and deemed as the Corvette’s competitor. And sure enough, it packed a punch. The standard AMC AMX came in a 4.8L 224hp V8. Cranked up, you’d get a 6.4L V8 churning out a monstrous 325hp. Now that is befitting of a WWE champion.

Yes, it’s all muscle, with 325bhp to be precise. John Cena has a keen eye for the powerful classics as evidenced by this blacked-out Dodge Hemi. It packs a 5.2L V8 engine, mounted to a three-speed manual shifter that is no slouch.

Arguably one of the sexiest classics in John Cena’s collection, this 1966 bomber was built to compete with the dominant Mustang, which pretty much defined the muscle car market back in the day. Despite people not swarming to buy this ride back in the day, the machine ended up being a Cena favorite.

No one saw this coming (and that pun either). In what fans can stretch to a petrol head “rivalry”, John Cena managed to buy the 2017 Ford GT and fit in it. And unlike his grossly uneconomical muscle cars, this carbon fiber beauty manages to churn out an incredible 650hp from a 3.5 liter twin-turbo V6 eco-boost engine.

Despite The Rock having some significant ambassadorial say in Ford, John Cena managed to be among the very few Americans who own this, yet again, Le Mans-winning GT car from Ford. However, he found himself in legal trouble with Ford for selling the car a bit too soon.

2 2006 Rolls-Royce Phantom – John Cena

Yes, they both own Rolls-Royces, but with slightly different tastes. For Cena, the 2006 Phantom is the magical masterpiece. Fitted with a 6.8L V12 engine, this luxury sedan is Cena’s choice for a family road trip and a tour down the road with important personnel like Vince McMahon (maybe not).

Just like a proper Rolls-Royce, the Phantom rides fast, smooth, and quiet. With a fridge in the back and a superior infotainment system to keep Dora the Explorer busy with the kids, it’s no wonder this is his favorite family ride.

1 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Superbird - John Cena

This is a legendary car, in the hands of a legend. Essentially a NASCAR, given the enormous wing and a rather weirdly extended nose, the 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Superbird was the road-legal version of its NASCAR favorite.

This happened to be the case thanks to the NASCAR rules back in the day that required a road-legal version of every car that was being raced.

Given his love for fast, very uneconomical muscle cars, John Cena made sure he was among the owners of this track legend, in an orange tint.
