The Chevy Camaro Z28 has often been a holy grail in the muscle car race and given that the 2023 model went poof, fans love it even more now.
Self-taught 3D artist Sean Demetros finds the Camaro Z28 pretty cool too, which is why he has churned out an awesome low-stanced, wide-bodied render that looks so cool, we want it yesterday.

A Stunning Wide-Bodied Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Race Car
Says Demetros, introducing his Chevy Camaro Z28, “The Camaro has always had a low and wide stance. I think that is one of the reasons so many people get drawn to it. I wanted to see what it would look like if it sat even lower and wider. The design of the custom wide-body kit plays off of the angular design of the body panels. Ensuring that the kit complements the existing lines of the car.”
Not only does his render make the Camaro Z28 look even beefier than it is in stock form, but there’s also an extra-large rear wing to truly make it fly, even if it’s only in the imagination.
For some reason, Chevy decided this Z28 Camaro did not need to exist, but sources allege that had it truly made it to production, it would have stunned all.
The new Z28 planned to have the 5.5-liter, flat-plane crank, DOHC, V8, capable of pumping out 617 horsepower.
The fifth-gen Camaro Z29 bears a 7.0-liter V8, making 505 horsepower and 481 lb-ft of torque, less than the 650-horsepower Camaro ZL1.
Sadly, this new Camaro Z28 seems to be a pipe dream only.

The artist further explains his design, “The aggressive aero draws inspiration from the Chevy Camaro GT4.R.
The large rear wing and diffuser coupled with the shin-breaking front splitter are the cherries on top of this modified monster.
They visually complement the wide-body kit along with providing substantial downforce. This muscle car is a far cry from the original pony cars, but it will dust anything that tries to out drive it.”
It is a stunner and with the blue paint and the large rear wing with yellow accents, it would be a dream to drive, if a handful to handle.
It may be a bit outlandish, but given today’s cars, we think this Camaro Z28 would fit right in.
Now if only Chevrolet would make another one of these…
