If you’re concerned about the quarter-mile times, then the Wrangler 392 manages to complete the course in 13.0 seconds. In terms of towing capacity, the V8-equipped Wrangler can manage to haul up to 3500 pounds.

As for fuel economy, the Wrangler 392 delivers 13 city and 17 MPG on the highway; if you are conservative with the throttle. Go all guns blazing and expect the figures to drop to single digits without much hesitation.

Firstly, let’s talk about price. At $75,000, the Jeep Wrangler 392 is hardly the bargain of the century. Secondly, Jeep still uses solid axles, which in the context of off-roading proves ideal. However, on the road, simply put, it’s not something we’d take for canyon carving.

But, truth be told, if you’re someone who expects a Wrangler to be athletic and composed, sorry, you must be in the wrong house. We’d suggest you get a Grand Cherokee SRT or any European performance SUV.

The 4x4 is as utilitarian as things get. The dash is a basic squarish design common to the old Wranglers, whilst the controls are a rudimentary mishmash of plastics. It isn’t as posh as you might expect from a vehicle that demands $75K.
