The 2021 and 2022 versions of the Blazer already offered a plethora of features, but Chevrolet felt the vehicle could still be improved, though the company retained the same roster of safety-enhancing driving assistance features from the preceding models. The front pedestrian braking, following distance indicator, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, forward collision alert, and automatic high beams are all still present and standard, while adaptive cruise control is also now available for certain trim models.

Furthermore, an intuitive climate control system (complete with air vents) is also added, and heated rear seats also are part of the 2023 model. The front seats are also heated and ventilated, a Wi-Fi hotspot is included, and certain phones have the option of wireless charging available. Chevy decided to distinguish this model of Blazer from its predecessors by making it more of a family crossover, as opposed to a full-sized SUV, like it was in 2022. Aesthetic improvements to both interior and exterior have also been implemented, as evidenced by the two-tone color scheme and the ambient interior lighting.

Also, new for the 2023 edition is the front fascia that has been redesigned, including the grille and corner vents, accented with a connecting narrow black trim piece. LED headlights have the same shape, but have been slightly tweaked for aesthetic purposes. The same two engine options from its predecessors are still available: the 228 HP 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and the 308 HP 3.6-liter V6 engine.

One of the more standout features of the revised Blazer is the larger touchscreen on the dashboard. This new touchscreen measures 10 inches on the screen, adding two inches more than the previous models had. The position of all buttons and controls are unchanged, though the touchscreen as a whole now reaches above the dashboard.

The rest of the dashboard kept its appearance intact, however. That said, more standard technology features have been added for the 2023 Blazer, these include a wireless smartphone charger and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Furthermore, these new technology features come standard for all trim options, instead of adding them solely to the more upscale trim options. Nonetheless, storage space remains unchanged.

While the Blazer has roots that date back into the classic automotive era, the current iteration has been part of Chevrolet’s lineup since the 2019 model year, when it was reinvented as a sporty-looking crossover, instead of the off-road SUV it was previously known as.

Several hues of paint are available for this particular model of Blazer. However, the Nightshift Blue option is only available for RS trim level as an interior option, while other exterior paint color options remain available. These options include Fountain Blue, Sterling Gray, Metallic, Copper Bronze Metallic, and Radiant Red Metallic. Asides from these, 18-inch, 20-inch, and 21-inch wheel designs are also offered.

A lot of the exterior body has been modified and updated to be more aesthetically pleasing. In addition to the aforementioned wheel designs and color options, the modified front fascia and grille design work together to create a sharper exterior aesthetic for the front end. In addition, the lights have all been redesigned to some extent, and these include the headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights. Of these three, the taillights have the least modifications made to them.

Also, the front bumper has been slightly altered, but not enough to stand out. All of these modifications became readily apparent when Chevrolet decided to juxtapose the 2023 edition with its predecessors on the sales floor, highlighting all the revisions, updates, and modifications made.
