A question often asked is how much Horsepower can the Focus RS handle? We need to understand this before we can boost the engine.
The stock settings for the RS have been measured to produce about 322 HP as well as 352 Ib-ft torque. When this car goes, it sounds amazing! 350 HP is the max estimated for the Focus RS with 441 Ib-ft torque.
Some of the most popular upgrades to help increase the power and handling of this car is an ECU flasher and a high-flow air filter.
What you can Modify:

Intercooler- Ford did such an amazing job with the intercooler on this car that they actually had to install a blanking plate to slightly block the air intake. This was done to reduce its efficiency! How amazing is that?
Brake Calipers- When people buy cars, the first thing that they do is change the brake calipers to Brembo calipers. Ford Focus RS owners are very lucky because this caliper comes standard with the car. You do not need to change something that is already viewed as the best in the business.
Handling/Suspension Upgrades:
The Drift mode on this car is another fan favorite modification. You feel like you have got something very special in the handling of this car and you feel as if you can take on anyone!
With that being said, many Ford Focus owners upgrade the handling of their cars but upgrading the suspension. This increases your enjoyment of the car, makes it feel smooth, and is something you need to upgrade if you plan on upgrading the engine.

Car Seat- With a car that is as sexy and aggressive as the Focus RS, it is understandable that you want to place racing seats in your car. The seats will make sure that the outside of the car matches the inside of the car.

Carbon fiber on a steering wheel feels so smooth and makes your heart feel warm and fuzzy when you look at how sexy the inside of your car looks.
