Ford Mustang Raptor
Ford has a range of diverse vehicles, including muscle cars, SUVs, pick-up trucks, sports cars, and also a supercar. Yet, the creator of this render, ‘X-Tomi Design’ did not let this get in the way of his imagination. While designing, he must have asked himself, ‘What would a 2020 Mustang and Raptor mashup look like?’ The answer is this beauty, a front grill resembling that of a Raptor, the headlights, and body was taken straight from the mustang, and the wheels and front bumper that perfectly suits the muscle-offroader. With the wide array of options available today in both muscle and off-road markets, this concept doesn’t look very logical, but we don’t care, we need one regardless.
Pontiac Firebird Wagon
Speaking of the Pontiac Firebird, the second generation Firebird Wagon was a lot of people’s dream car made real back in the late ’70s. Featured heavily in TV shows and movies like the above-mentioned ‘Knight Rider’ and ‘Smokey and the Bandits’, the Firebird is among the most popular Pontiac ever made. The designer kept the front end as original as possible by only adding a new bumper and large hood scoops. The rear, however, got the designer’s most attention. The only thing still resembling the original from the back is the K-trail shape. But the new render paired with a wide body kit and shark-teeth graphics looks so cool that we are not the ones to complain.
Chevrolet Camaro x Corvette C8
General Motors have a vast variety of cars made over the years. Moreover, recent years seem to be one of the high points for them. The folks at their Chevrolet division have done a spectacular job with the most recent Corvette C8 (the first mid-engine Corvette in history) and people loved it. People also loved what they did with the Camaro these past few years. And here is a render of the two great-looking cars combined into an even better-looking sports car that General Motors needs to make. The front looks of the Camaro fit so well with the Corvette (both individual cars are designed by the same manufacturer after all) that if GM ever wishes to make a mid-engine Camaro, they know what to go for. Also, with this amazing metallic paint, the hint of red found in brake calipers and rear side vents is a brilliant move by the artist. Red calipers steal the show every time.
Tesla Model X Rally
The roots of Tesla cars have absolutely zero connection to rally sport. But now that we think of it, Tesla Model X’s intelligent All-Wheel Drive system with variable torque might actually be of use in rally stages. Let’s gloss over the fact that the Model X would be too large and heavy for many stages, and let’s pretend to ignore the fact that Tesla’s (or most EV’s) batteries tend to limit power delivery to the wheels in icy weather like depicted in this render. But we don’t care, the photo looks amazing and that would trump all the impracticality one can find if one looks past the beautiful imaginary. The icy blue and white Space-X paint job with retro rally rims, Tesla front lights, and a big spoiler all makes for such a car that seems like it could easily threaten most, if not all other rally cars. Let’s just hope Elon Musk comes up with an autopilot mode that responds to the navigation calls of rally co-drivers. This is a view that evokes us of the word, ‘Mean’.
