For this particular project, Will.i.am bought a DeLorean, drew a sketch of his vision for the car, and got the guys at West Coast Customs to do the transformation.

Beckham’s fleet of exotic cars includes a custom-made Rolls-Royce Phantom. Powering this Phantom is a 6.75-liter V12 engine producing 453 hp that is controlled by a six-speed automatic transmission.

David Beckham’s Phantom has a specially built 24-inch Savini Forged wheels, color-matched trim on the exterior, and uniquely engraved Beckham’s jersey number “23” on all the seats.

7 Jay Z – Maybach Exelero

With such magnitude of financial success, buying a one-off customized Maybach wouldn’t be an uphill task, hence, Jay Z got himself the Maybach Exelero. The Exelero is a high-performance sports car built by Stola in partnership with DaimlerChrysler.

This supercar is powered by a twin-turbo V12 engine producing 690 hp at 5000 rpm and 752 ft-lb of torque at 2500 rpm. Exelero goes from rest to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of 218 mph.

This custom coupe was Will.I.Am’s second car project from his IAMAUTO Company after the DeLorean. Just like the IAMAUTO DeLorean, this custom coupe also got mixed reactions from the public. However, the project is daring and the vision deserves nothing but commendation.

Until he was satisfied with the execution, Will.I.Am changed the modification company about three times. The coupe is powered by LS3 from Extreme Performance. The coupe was built from a vintage 1958 Volkswagen, with about $900,000 spent on the entire project.

1 Ralph Lauren – 1930 Mercedes-Benz SSK “Count Trossi”

The 1930 Mercedes-Benz SSK is some stuff of automobile legends – it has a rich and iconic history. The engineering of the SSK was among the last duties of Dr. Ferdinard Porsche before he left Mercedes to start his own automobile company, Porsche.

Only about 30 units of this car were built, however, this here had a special body built for it by its former owner, Count Trossi. Ralph Lauren later acquired it and got Paul Russell to do the restoration.
