Genesis Motors is one of Hyundai's most popular luxury vehicle divisions. Initially ideated with Hyundai's new luxury Genesis sedan back in 2004, the 'Genesis brand' was officially announced as an independent entity in November 2015. The brand's first Genesis standalone model - the Genesis G90 - was launched in 2017. Designed in Rüsselsheim (Germany), Namyang (South Korea), and Irvine (United States); and produced in Ulsan (South Korea), Genesis models embrace what the brand name implies: Creation. The brand believes that every drive in a Genesis car deserves to be special. Genesis has created some of the finest automobiles in recent years, and the trend continues with the 2022 Genesis GV60. The all-new Genesis model is a compelling beauty that explores new paths in automotive manufacturing. It is audacious, progressive, and distinctly Korean - three words that define the Genesis brand. It's like a memorable dish prepared by a world-class chef: a perfectly balanced mixture of athleticism and elegance.

The 2022 Genesis GV60 is the talk of the town right now, and rightly so. What makes this Korean car special? What are some of its standout features? Let's find out. Here are some of the cool features that make the Genesis GV60 so desirable.

The 2022 GV60 stays true to the Genesis brand's philosophy of setting and surpassing standards in sustainable luxury design. It is a high-performance EV beaut with a sleek and athletic coupe CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle) design that expands Genesis’ design identity into the sustainable luxury space. At the front are the much-talked-about 'Two Lines lamps'. These stylish lamps perfectly complement the vehicle’s refined and voluminous body. The two-line design has always been a symbol of Genesis' iconic and instantly recognizable vehicles. With the new GV60 model, the company has decided to lower the position of the Genesis signature Crest Grille to accommodate cooling requirements specific to the dedicated high-performance EV platform. The 2023 GV60's rear features a coupe roof profile that ends with a distinctive fixed-wing spoiler. Further, highlighting the Genesis EV's dynamic image is the shoulder volume of the rear fender, emphasizing the vehicle’s wide stance. Like its front, the rear of this monster is also graced with the Genesis signature 'Two-Line lamps'. Its side profile is just as impressive, highlighted by its coupe silhouette that streamlines from the hood to the spoiler, solidifying a more athletic profile with a short overhang and a long wheelbase of 2,900 mm. The Clamshell Hood and the Genesis Emblem look pretty slick too.

The 2022 GV60 accentuates its cutting-edge look with digital side mirrors. The door handles automatically pop up when the driver approaches the car with their smart key. Its interiors are spacious, comfortable, and beautiful, thanks to its floating architecture and unique details that combine to create a unique look. There's also the Crystal Sphere, that - according to the company - has been designed to create an emotional connection between the driver and the vehicle. When you turn off your GV60, the Crystal Sphere becomes the vehicle’s mood lights, adding to the aesthetics. When you're ready to drive, the sphere rotates and the SBW (Shift By Wire) appears, creating an indoor atmosphere of futuristic mobility. The brand also stays true to its sustainable luxury design promise by using various eco-friendly and recycled materials.

At the heart of the 2022 Genesis GV60 is the company's exclusive PE (Power Electric) system that generates a max power of 168 kW. The 2022 GV60 is powered by exclusive driving technology. With the aid of a front camera and navigation data, the GV60's system adapts the damping force of the suspension to control motion. It also recognizes potential impacts, such as speed bumps, without compromising on your riding comfort and stability. You also have the option to pick from multiple driving modes: Comfort, Sport, Eco, and Custom. Each driving mode has been designed for optimal performance. Select Comfort mode for a smooth ride, Sport mode for better acceleration performance, and Eco mode for higher efficiency. The GV60 also features a Boost Mode to give it a more dynamic and luxurious element. This mode increases the performance and maximizes output, giving you a more dynamic driving experience. However, the said Boost Mode will only last for 10 seconds after you press a dedicated button mounted on the GV60's steering wheel. The Boost Mode also enables the 2022 GV60 to a 0 to 60 miles per hour time of just 4 seconds - only 0.5 seconds short of Kia EV6 GT's 0 to 60 miles per hour time of 3.5 seconds. At its best, it can clock up to 146 miles per hour. The all-new GV60's multi-charging system enables stable and rapid charging with various charging infrastructures. When charging at 350kW with the ultra-speed charging function, its battery can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 18 minutes. All in all, the 2022 Genesis GV60 is a stylish monster packed with a bunch of super slick features.
